⚠️ A quick but important update For the last several days DEMONETIZATION.ORG has been under sustained attacks. Today the site was fully down. Our team worked non-stop to harden the defenses, and restore full functionality. We owe everyone an apology — channels were not verified, appeals were not reviewed, the queue stood still. We know how much hangs on every single case, and we hate that you had to wait. ✅ The site is back up. Starting tomorrow we are fully back in action — reviewing channels, processing appeals, and pushing every verified case forward. Thank you to every creator who stayed with us through this. The fact that someone considers this platform worth attacking tells us we are doing something that matters. 🎉 One more thing — huge congratulations to @mc_2099 (Masked Creator 2099) on having his monetization restored. We hope we played a small part in that win — but the real credit goes to ALL YOU. He is the real deal: films himself, edits himself, builds every video from the ground up. A true professional. He deserves every cent of that monetization back, and frankly more. This is what we are fighting for — bona fide creators getting the recognition and support they earned. One down. Many more to go. Best regards, URBAN STUDIO

Okay, I took a look at your channel, and I have to be honest: in your case, I can unfortunately understand YouTube’s decision. Many of your videos seem to follow a very similar structure. The same images, the same B-roll, similar phrases, and almost identical thumbnails keep appearing over and over again. Even the titles often sound very similar, and in some thumbnails it looks like only one word has been changed while the rest stays almost the same. Because of that, YouTube most likely gets the impression that your content is mass-produced or reused. And that is exactly the kind of thing that can fall under “inauthentic content.” My honest advice would be: change your image selection, use more varied B-roll, make your scripts feel more individual, and design your thumbnails in a much more distinct way. Of course, you can keep your branding or certain recognizable elements, but right now it looks like you are uploading the same type of content again and again with only minor changes. If you rework that, add more variety, and then apply again, your chances will probably be much better.

Hey @TeamYouTube, I was hit with an "inauthentic content" flag AGAIN on April 28 for the exact same issue your team had already reviewed through my video appeal and reinstated on March 19. 👉On March 19, you explicitly told me that you had “carefully reviewed” my video appeal and that it helped you “better understand how I create my videos, my content strategy, and my channel brand.” Monetization was reinstated after reviewing my workflow and editing process. Proof attached. 👉Now, since April 28, I’ve spent 17+ days receiving only templated responses while the “Start Appeal” button is still active in my dashboard. So I need a clear answer: If my workflow, editing process, and channel brand were already reviewed, understood, and approved in March… what changed less than 40 days later? How can content be approved after a manual review, then later be labelled “inauthentic” again without any meaningful explanation? Creators deserve consistency and transparency. I’m simply asking for a human review and a real explanation. Thank you! Bro, honestly, go get help. Go talk to a therapist. You are truly filled with hate. I am not woke, I am not gay, and I am not whatever else you are trying to project onto me. I am simply a human being. You are clearly not thinking straight, and the way you talk about people is disturbing. Get help.

I am back in the YouTube Partner Program. ❤️ After all the stress, uncertainty, messages, posts, support requests and community support over the past weeks, my channel Masked Creator 2099 has been monetized again. I want to sincerely thank everyone who shared my case, commented, reposted, supported me and helped make this visible. @urban_studio_yt @Nina7Infinity Thank you to my community. Thank you to all creators who showed solidarity. Thank you to everyone on X who helped bring attention to my case. And also thank you to @YouTube @TeamYouTube for reviewing my channel again and reinstating it into the Partner Program. I love YouTube. I love creating videos for this platform. And I truly hope cases like this will be handled with more transparency, humanity and fairness in the future — not only for me, but for every creator who puts honest work into their content. Now we move forward. Thank you all. Truly. This would not have been possible without you. 🙏❤️ #TeamYouTube #YouTubeCreators #FixYPP #CreatorRights #MaskedCreator2099

Bro, what are you even talking about? I am not Jewish, I am not homosexual, and I am not whatever else you are trying to imply. I am simply a human being and a creator. Nina only reposted my post once. That is all she did. So please don’t turn this into some conspiracy theory. It worked because I stayed persistent, because my community stood behind me, and because other creators helped by reposting me — just like I reposted and supported them. That’s it. There is nothing deeper behind it. If your channel did nothing wrong and you were removed by mistake, it can be corrected once a real human at YouTube actually reviews it. We don’t need to turn this into a conspiracy theory.

Hey @TeamYouTube, I need a human eye here! 🚨 My 8-year-old educational channel was just demonetized. 100% Original: Years of handcrafted 2D animations, infographics, and motion graphics. The majority of my videos were created long before generative AI even existed. Newer videos only use AI as a tool to enhance my art, the core work is entirely human. Can we please get a manual review?

Hi @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators @EUCouncil I’ve now seen that YouTube can provide creators with specific reasons when a channel is demonetized for “inauthentic content” — including: ✅ flagged video URLs ✅ policy details ✅ a written explanation of what was considered problematic That is exactly what I am asking for in my case. My channel @MaskedCreator2099 was demonetized for “inauthentic content”, but I still don’t know: ❓ Which videos were flagged? ❓ Which exact policy was applied? ❓ Why exactly was my content considered “inauthentic”? Instead, I keep receiving generic replies and being sent back into the same support loop. My videos are not automated, not mass-produced and not a content farm. I produce everything myself: One video usually takes around 6 days to produce, and I normally upload only one video per week. As an EU creator, I also have rights under the EU Digital Services Act. Platform decisions should be transparent and specific enough for creators to understand what caused the action. I am not asking for special treatment. I am only asking for the same transparency other creators have received. Please tell me exactly: ➡️ Which videos were flagged? ➡️ Which policy was violated? ➡️ Why was my content considered “inauthentic”? Please give my case a real human review. Case: 7-8772000041350 Thank you.

🚨 PRECEDENT: YouTube CAN — and BY LAW MUST — give you specific reasons. Not templates. Not "wait 90 days." Below is the proof. Our channel was demonetized for "Inauthentic Content." First @TeamYouTube response? Template. Generic refusal. "Wait 90 days." Nothing actionable. Then — sustained public pressure + a formal legal notice citing DSA Article 17 and P2B Regulation + post on our page URBAN STUDIO — and YouTube was forced to come back with: ✅ a specific policy clause ✅ specific video URLs that were flagged ✅ an actual written explanation That is the bare minimum YouTube owes every single creator under EU law. Article 17 of the Digital Services Act requires an individual statement of reasons with specific facts and circumstances — not a copy-paste reply. The decision in this case is still wrong — and we are not stopping until it is reversed. But the precedent matters. You now have one too. What to do if you get a template: ➡️ Demand the specific videos flagged ➡️ Demand the specific policy clause ➡️ Cite "DSA Article 17" in every appeal and every DM ➡️ Tag this post @TeamYouTube and @urban_studio_yt ➡️ Do not accept "wait 90 days" as an answer If you keep getting a template instead of specifics — that itself is a DSA violation, and we will help you document it for the formal complaint file. 🔄 Repost this. Tag every demonetized creator you know. The more of us understand what we are legally owed, the harder this gets to ignore. 🔗 DEMONETIZATION.ORG — sign the petition, submit your channel, get verified. Best regards, URBAN STUDIO

So YouTube demonetizes me for “inauthentic content,” but at the same time, they release an AI tool for YouTube Shorts that creates AI videos — basically creating inauthentic content. Even though I don’t even use AI for my videos, I was falsely flagged for inauthentic content. Am I understanding this correctly? You demonetize thousands of channels for “inauthentic content,” and then a few weeks later you release an AI tool for YouTube Shorts to create AI videos — to create inauthentic videos? I don’t know what’s going on, but right now something is seriously going wrong at YouTube.
