I talked with the games industry veteran Ricard Pillosu about the programming side of video games. Some of his answers quite surprised me, for example that he thinks of programming as "the easy part".

@Niuxyz definitely would be interesting to try and make a game in a genre that you normally despise or otherwise would not play. Agree, for horror there's probably a lot of ways to interpret it that would be different than the norm

My students love horror games! I’ve never thought about making one myself? I don’t really enjoy them..? But what if it’s not exactly horror, just something…that’s horrifying in some way… as an artist?🤔💭

I'm not usually one to reminisce, but this time I couldn't help it. Prune changed my life. It felt like something bigger than me, like something I uncovered. I was shocked by how many people it reached--and grateful that it helped them find a little quiet in their busy lives.
