In a state where online gambling rakes in billions, what happens when a profitable player asks questions about compliance with state law? They get ignored or permanently banned. This isn't just my fight; it's a potential bombshell exposing how operators like @BetMGMPoker & @WSOPOnlinePoker ,backed by a reluctant regulator @PAGamingControl , might be skirting transparency & gaming laws, setting a dangerous precedent that could silence any player who dares to demand proof of fair games. After moving to PA in 2023, I started racking up profit across poker, table games promotions, & sports betting on PA platforms like BetMGM, netting thousands in profits without a hint of problem gambling—no excessive losses, no erratic bets, no self-exclusion flags. In fact, I have showed evidence I am profitable on every single regulated poker site in the state! But curiosity about the system's integrity changed everything. Citing Pennsylvania state law requiring Random Number Generators (RNGs) to be certified by independent labs and audited regularly for fairness (per 58 Pa. Code §§ 809a.3 and 461a.7), I politely inquired via email about BetMGM's RNG certification, audit frequency, and real-money hand testing. The response? An abrupt account suspension. Only after threats of legal action did BetMGM restore access on July 8, 2025. Undeterred, I took to X, posting evidence and tagging BetMGM and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) for an investigation into potential non-compliance. Then, on October 1, 2025, the hammer fell: permanent closure, justified as "responsible gaming concerns"—despite irrefutable records showing net gains and zero red flags. Upon request for any evidence supporting this neither BetMGM nor the PGCB could produce any. The timing makes it abundantly clear this was retaliatory which is illegal. This pattern repeated with WSOP, another major PA operator, where similar inquiries led to evasive responses and continued refusal to provide any documentation of third-party lab certifications or audits. The Stonewalling and the Smoking Gun Emails: BetMGM and WSOP have repeatedly refused to provide any documentation proving compliance with state-mandated RNG certification or audits, even as PGCB law demands transparency to protect players. In one damning WSOP email exchange, the operator stated in writing that tournaments have nothing to do with rake which shows incompetence at best, and deferred accountability by claiming that the PGCB itself is who certified them without citing the independent third-party lab required by state law. If the law requires this one would think they would be readily available to produce this documentation, but they consistently refuse. Why? Adding to this, WSOP put in writing that the RNG is "theoretically tested," which aligns with my years-long theory documented in writing: "At best, a theoretical RNG is being tested, and then something else is being implemented, especially in cases where they are not auditing actual real-money hands that were dealt subsequently for fairness." PGCB, tasked with enforcing these rules, "investigated" my complaint but declined to intervene, echoing BetMGM's "business decision" line without demanding proof of the alleged "continued concerns." Responses were delayed, vague, and deviated from standard procedure with no named investigator, or way to confer with the investigator over the phone—contrasting sharply with prior complaints. When escalated, the runaround intensified: The Pennsylvania Attorney General referred the matter to the Office of State Inspector General (OSIG), who promptly declined jurisdiction on October 20, 2025, advising legal counsel. Get a lawyer? Is he incompetent? It takes someone minutes to research how well protected the PGCB is from lawsuits. Despite forwarding the AG's email confirming OSIG's role, all correspondence ceased at that point, with weeks of silence adding to the obfuscation. This jurisdictional dodge underscores a deeper issue: The AG is correct in referring agency misconduct here, as OSIG's mandate includes probing fraud, waste, abuse, and conflicts in executive branch operations—and PGCB, as a state regulatory body overseeing billions in revenue, falls squarely under this for potential undue influence or procedural lapses that harm consumers. OSIG could investigate to uncover if PGCB's deference to operators like BetMGM reflects systemic favoritism, ensuring accountability where consumer protections intersect with state oversight. Even my representative, Jake Banta, refused to take any action or even speak on my behalf, further highlighting the barriers to resolution. This isn't isolated; it echoes PGCB's history of scrutiny, including private closed-door meetings with casino lobbyists from Parx Casino in 2023, which prompted lawmakers to call for investigations into potential undue influence and regulatory capture. This bureaucratic shuffle raises red flags— is PGCB, overseeing a $6+ billion industry, protecting revenue-generating operators over everyday players? The most pragmatic and cynical of us probably don't need to think too hard about this. The Inherent Conflict: Would Corporations Rig the Game? But peel back the layers: Would profit-driven giants really resist tweaking RNGs when their watchdog's leash is tied to the same revenue stream? Would gambling corporations manipulate their RNGs to boost profitability, especially when the regulator's very existence hinges on the industry's health? Seems like textbook conflict of interest. PGCB is funded entirely by gaming fees and licenses—creating an inherent conflict of interest where exposing widespread corruption could slash revenues and threaten the board's budget, leading to self-preservation over rigorous oversight. This vulnerability is exacerbated by PGCB's idleness in the face of operators permanently banning inquisitive players who simply seek proof of state law compliance—without PGCB itself providing the documentation throughout any of this. It seems abundantly clear they're concealing the possibility that millions of hands, tens of thousands of tournaments, billions in bets across slots and tables, and countless spins on table games and slots have been dealt for years without proper independent lab certification and auditing—potentially rendering vast swaths of Pennsylvania's online gaming ecosystem unfair and unverified, with players unknowingly feeding into a system tilted toward house profits. Ask yourself what the alternative is? They are refusing to provide me this documentation repeatedly for what purpose exactly? The Bombshell They're Hiding: At its core, this story uncovers an abuse of power: operators wielding "responsible gaming" policies not to protect vulnerable players, but to retaliate against those probing for fairness. Without disclosing RNG audits, how can Pennsylvanians trust the games aren't tilted? And the precedent? If winning players can be arbitrarily banned without evidence of wrongdoing, it chills accountability across the industry. That precedent is literally groundbreaking in the US! What message does this send to the regulated industry? "As a PA online gambler it sickens me that the people who take our taxes to protect us are wielding that authority against us in an effort to obfuscate compliance with state law." - @karihanby Searches of public records, court cases, and forums reveal no other documented instances in Pennsylvania where a profitable player—free of fraud, cheating, or addiction signs—was shut down purely as a "business decision." My case appears to be the first, potentially setting a chilling standard: Ask questions, lose access. This isn't isolated; it echoes broader gaming scandals, like the 2025 NBA betting rigging expose, where integrity failures eroded public trust. If unaddressed, it could invite class actions under UTPCPL, with fines up to $260,000 per operator based on precedents, and spark legislative reforms. Call to Action for Media: This isn't just a personal grievance—it's a window into systemic vulnerabilities in PA's booming online gaming market. With evidence like professional emails, account statements, X threads furthered by poker watchdogs like @ToddWitteles , and regulatory letters, I am ready to share the full dossier. Expose how giants like BetMGM and WSOP, shielded by PGCB's inaction, might be hiding rigged realities while punishing winners like myself. DM for interviews, documents, and a story that could redefine gaming oversight. Join forces to uncover if this is the next big gaming scandal. #Poker #OnlinePoker #PAGambling #GamingScandal #BetMGM #WSOP #PGCB #RNGFairness #GamblingRegulation #PennsylvaniaGaming

@LandauDave it was a pleasure, sir. Just turned 40. Dad passed from leukemia 11 years ago who was a 22 year Navy veteran. I'm from and grew up in New Orleans. Definitely participated with ecstasy during its "heyday" and as a introvert it definitely had similar effects on me. Great book. Finished it in a day at work. Definitely more somber than I had expected but your story clearly hasn't been all laughs. Have a great weekend dude!

I’m not political at all but if you don’t think this is a good thing for the world then you’re the problem. Hate trump all you want but letting these radical leaders potentially destroy the world and run a mockery of their people is not something we can stand by and let happen! God Bless America and the rest of the world! Freedom and justice for all.🇺🇸🇮🇷

It has begun. Trump and Netanyahu have miscalculated badly, and we're all going ot pay the price. Every day the Strait of Hormuz remains closed is another day that the price of oil rachets higher. Sorry, EU, you're about to find out that your trust in American oil & LNG supplies was misplaced.

You're welcome. That's respectable. Nuance exists and I had felt differently had that been what you originally said but to be fair nobody wants to qualify everything they say, especially on social media. Often people seem to compare the US, and western countries as a whole, to some non existent virtuously superior country. In a land where nobody is perfect I think we treat our people better than anywhere else. Hope you have a good time at your event and thanks for the mature response.

Thank you for your service 🫡 I think you would be surprised by the actual content of my topic. If I called it, “How to Ball Bust with the Best of ‘em” would it have struck the same nerve? I dont think the discussion I’ve prepared is the one youre imaginging which is why my original response was flippant. I think you think were gonna sit around and talk about times men have been out of line, when my aim is to develop ways to remain unemotional & deflect negativity—the opposite of victim mentality i hope.

It's fascinating you'll be flippant when being prompted for a explanation to the illogical position and you have nothing.....yet youll go right back to pretending to be a victim. It's quite pathetic I watched people die to provide people like you the best possible existence and all you do with that amazing opportunity is to spit on it by pretending you're a victim.
