@DanMKervick @WilliamT4479 Hey Dan. Do you really believe they were sticking to any agreement to not enrich to nuclear bomb grade? If so, I have a bridge you need to buy.

@WilliamT4479 They don’t have a nuclear bomb. There was a treaty to make sure they will never have a nuclear bomb and your guy tore it up. The bomb is just a pretext. That’s not why the US and Israel want to take over Iran.

Iran is allowed to enrich uranium under international law. Iran is allowed to have a peaceful nuclear energy program under international law. The United States is a dangerous outlaw nation running an outlaw regime. Other nations have a duty to enforce international law.

@bob2230 @CarlHigbie Like the rest of the world paying cheaper drug prices than us huh? And how about windfall profits? Does say a thing about meta, apple, Nvidia and the like who have way higher net margins. This guy is a fraud

@CarlHigbie No problem with profits. Big problem with taxpayers subsidizing those already making big profits by selling our oil overseas while we pay more at the pump. That stinks.

@FPVaughanIII 47 years of Iranian international terrorist bullshit with the nuclear weapon close at hand and demolishing all of it now will free up generations to to live in peace. Worth it I'd say.

Tankers lining up to buy oil from America is definitely great for American oil companies, and perhaps bumps revenue for the U.S. government a bit. But oil is priced globally, hence the American consumer is getting bagged hard at the pumps. How is this a win for the people?

@RKelanic Take your professor like, no experience in foreign affairs and war talking points and shove them up your ass. Without ports running they have no more money.

Blockading Iran will not compel its surrender. After enduring 6 weeks of war, Iran’s leaders won’t suddenly decide, “Oh, we can’t use our ports now. We better meet U.S. demands.” Trump can’t escalate the U.S. out of this mess. The war failed — now it’s time to cut losses. @defpriorities

@TomHarpointner @mccaffreyr3 I’m not him, but Iran was following the rules in the treaty they had with Obama. Inspectors were on the ground making sure. Trump ripped it up. He hates Obama & Netanyahu has him by the balls. He should have listened to his Generals. The ramifications were known. He ignored.

Trump blockades all shipping from the Persian Gulf stopping our Gulf allies from exporting oil, LNG, fertilizer, and general cargo imports. This creates a catastrophe for our allies and a calamity for global economy. Trump sees this as clever.

Is he on the Newsom payroll? What a crap take. Data shows this is overwhelmingly in spite of Newsom’s policies, not because of them. The growth is heavily concentrated in tech, which is 37% of California’s real GDP and only 21% of jobs. Without tech, the rest of California’s economy has grown far slower than the U.S. average.
Carl Quintanilla@carlquintanilla

“Of all the prevailing media narratives around Gavin Newsom, the one that is most conspicuous by its absence is how under its two-term governor California became the top performing economy not just among its 49 siblings but also any developed nation.” bloomberg.com/opinion/articl…

Trump's immoral and reckless war in Iran has shot up gas prices in my district to nearly $6 a gallon. Stop the war, stop exporting our crude oil, and pass my windfall profits tax on Big Oil to give Americans a rebate for their gas bills.

I've already gone toe-to-toe with Donald Trump. I led his federal prosecutions. We had the evidence to convict, but he escaped accountability through reelection and fired me his first week back in office. No one in this race — no one in this country — brings that experience to Congress. I'm running to stand up to Donald Trump, and I know exactly how.
