Does anyone have experience offering financing for their home service business? Spray foam can get expensive, and we've had a few customers ask if we offer it. There are companies like Sunlight that provide contractor financing, but I don't know anyone who's actually used one. Would love to hear what's worked for you.

One time I turned $178 into >$15K by just following one of @mhp_guy ‘s tweet. Chris tweeted about these wooden storage racks that a guy in California was selling for a few hundred bucks. “Looks easy enough, I can do that” I went to Facebook Marketplace and searched around. There was only 1 other guy selling them in DFW at the time. Perfect. I bought the plans off of Etsy, ripped some pictures off the internet, and posted to Marketplace. Pretty quickly my DMs lit up. I didn’t know how much to charge, so I just started testing out various price points. The first one I ever sold I had to assemble in the basement of a parking garage because I wasn’t sure if I could load it into the back of my truck. The customer showed up early and her husband helped me finish building it. Eventually I dialed in my operations. Knew exactly how much wood to get, how many screws it would take, lead time on “the good” casters from Amazon. Wood supply was a huge constraint. I would buyout HomeDepot and Lowe’s of all their straight 2x4’s and it would take weeks for them to replenish. My DMs were just a constant flow of “hello, is this still available?” I would reply with my price sheet and move on. No hassling! I could build one in under 4 hours. After my add-ons and delivery the average ticket price was typically around $500. I met lots of really great people, Boosted my FB marketplace rating like crazy (which still helps me with the other businesses today), and made some good side money! Then we had a baby so spending all night in the garage making lots of noise was a thing of the past🤣

@LouStagner Lou - I’m a huge fan and appreciate all you do for the game. I agree that there are guys grinding who equally deserve an exemption, but isn’t YouTube golf space is only helping to grow the game? Why shouldn’t some of the top tier YouTubers get an invite?

Imagine turning down a PGA Tour invite you have no business receiving in the first place because you can't film for YouTube. There are guys out there GRINDING their tails off to make it as pros. Invite one of them. STOP wasting invites on YouTubers.

@NUCLRGOLF I get there are media rights and deals in play but Grant has built a fairly large brand / following. Allowing him to film would only help to #growthegame. He wouldn’t be filming live so why wouldn’t the PGA allow him to upload the videos after the event was over?

🚫🎥⛳️ #DENIED — YouTube golf mega star Grant Horvat has announced the PGA Tour will not allow his film crew to document competition rounds, citing media rights rules, therefore he has decided to not accept a sponsor’s invite into the Barracuda Championship this week. Should an exception have been made? (Via @GrantHorvatGolf / YT)

@nickluck @MCYeeehaaa Journalism has always seemed to find his way into trouble but it was extremely impressive to see him overcome a troubled trip and still come out on top at the Preakness. How many lengths would he have won by if he had a clean trip?!
