Some notes, @Swatch. I visited the Austin store yesterday to confirm they were offering the AP + Swatch Collab. Was told by security that lines would be allowed to form starting at 6am the next day for 9am opening. Great. Arrive at 5:40 this am. People had been waiting in line for hrs. Many prolly didn’t know about 6am rule. I only knew bc I asked the day before. And the rule was clearly not enforced. Should have been staffed with crowd control and guards sending folks away until 6am. Should have been actually organized at line formation. Especially because something similar happened with Omega collab. Then just before 6am when official line-up is supposed to begin…police are called to disperse the already lined-up crowd & send everyone home for trespassing. I truly didn’t witness any unruly behavior. Eager customers, of course. Maybe there was but I didn’t see it. Now store is closed for the day with a sign posted out front. People are still waiting out front - probably all day and through tomorrow am for the next time you open your doors - assuming of course they don’t have the police called on them again. Was that all just part of a wider marketing scheme, @Swatch? How’s a rule-following person to purchase one?

The “trick” is not to over extend, so you’d be pulling up your entire body weight. You have to keep it compact.
