Today marks the one-year anniversary of the single deadliest day in Jewish history since the Holocaust. As Governor, I will implement a statewide plan to combat antisemitism as part of an anti-hate agenda. This Plan will include additional funds for security of religious organizations. We must work toward a society that is welcoming, safe, and inclusive for all Washingtonians, including our Jewish neighbors, and stand up against all hate, bigotry, and discrimination.

New pro-Palestinian graffiti seen on UW’s campus today. Buildings include Gerberding Hall (admin building), Denny Hall, Suzzallo, and some on the Quad. It is currently unknown what time this was done.

The rise in antisemitic rhetoric and hate crimes in WA state and across the country is deeply disturbing. Today in Seattle, I met with Jewish community leaders to hear how they're doing and how the federal government can better do its part to combat antisemitism.
