@tombrossman As your video demonstrates road markings unfortunately do not guarantee compliance. Empathy and education would help, further underpinned by meaningful penalties.

@tombrossman @JerseyPolice There appears a genuine and unashamed antipathy toward cyclists on the Island. Taxis have openly and aggressively vocalised their anger at being slowed by cycles whilst I was in the cab. Jersey has real traffic challenges, biking should be actively encouraged and not lambasted.

@tombrossman @JerseyPolice I’ve often wondered if drivers of this ilk are simply ignorant of how terrifying this type of manoeuvre is for a cyclist? Would be great if the individuals starring in the video agreed to join you on a tandem ride across the Island? A little bit of empathy can go a long way…

@PortsofJersey I’m flying @easyJet to LPL this afternoon. The flight was delayed from LPL however the arr and dep board in Jersey was not updated until 15 mins before the flight was due to land. Is there a tactical reason for this? It’s 90 mins I could have spent in the ☀️😎
