We need Aston Villa to win the Europa League and finish 5th in the Premier League. If they lift the trophy in Istanbul on May 20 and end up fifth, their automatic Champions League spot as Europa winners means the extra EPS place cascades down to sixth. Villa are right in the mix for both, we’re quietly hoping they deliver. For Chelsea, it’s straightforward: we must win our remaining games and climb into sixth. Every point counts. The squad has the talent and fight, if they show up, we’ll get the results. Come on you Blues! Belief costs nothing, and this season isn’t finished until the final whistle. I wouldn’t blow up the Denver Nuggets. I understand there aren’t a ton of moves to make to the roster, but not having Aaron Gordon and Peyton Watson was a massive blow. I’d prioritize making sure both of them can be on the team long term, figure out what happened to Christian Braun, and do whatever can be done on the margins around Jokic/Murray/Gordon. At least one more run.
