So my daughter had a test and asked her teacher if she was going to grade them over the weekend so she could know her grade on Monday. Her teachers reply “I’m not spending my weekend grading papers.” Okay then.. moving forward my children will not spending their after school hours doing hours of homework. They will not spending their weekend working on projects. They can do that during school time then.

@nickimoraa Teachers are paid shit. They are expected to pay out of pocket to provide the basic needs to teach. My daughter taught kids online and in person at the same time during Covid. Many of her students lost parents. She just wanted to be there to hug them. Fuck off

When did teacher’s attire take a turn? Teachers today dress like they are all teaching PE. Growing up all my teachers wore heels, dresses, slacks, dress shirts, hair was done. They looked put together. Teachers today look like they don’t care. the way you show up contributes to the environment you work in. this may be one of the factors into why kids behave the way they do. take the profession seriously so the kids can take you seriously
