🔴Thromboangiitis obliterans/Buerger disease is a smoking-related condition that results in blood clot formation (thrombosis) in small & medium-sized  arteries, and less commonly veins. ➡️The affected areas are most commonly the hands and feet. ➡️The mc presentation of thromboangiitis obliterans is of painful purple/blue areas on the fingers or toes (blue toe syndrome) ➡️Smoking cessation is essential. ➡️The hands and feet should be kept warm and protected from trauma and infection. ➡️Intravenous infusion of Iloprost (a medication that helps relax blood vessel walls and reduce clotting),  👉sympathectomy  (ablation of the nerves  causing blood vessel  constriction), and 👉removal of gangrenous tissue may be necessary.

"सॉरी मम्मी-पापा, मैं पत्नी से तंग आ चुका हूं, प्लीज मर्दों के बारे में कोई तो बात करे" ये आख़िरी शब्द थे आगरा के मानव शर्मा के, जो मुंबई में TCS के मैनेजर थे। मानव ने एक वीडियो बनाकर खुदकुशी कर ली। इस वीडियो में उन्होंने अपनी पत्नी के साथ बढ़ते तनाव और उनके द्वारा झूठे मुकदमों की धमकी का ज़िक्र किया। मानव ने बताया कि उनकी पत्नी न केवल उन्हें, बल्कि उनके परिवार को भी झूठे केस में फंसाने की धमकी देती थी। यह स्थिति उनके लिए इतनी असहनीय हो गई कि उन्होंने आत्महत्या को ही एकमात्र रास्ता समझा। मानव शर्मा की यह दर्दनाक कहानी एक बार फिर समाज के सामने यह सवाल खड़ा करती है कि क्या हमने अतुल सुभाष जैसे मामलों से कोई सबक सीखा है? अतुल सुभाष, जो खुद एक सॉफ्टवेयर इंजीनियर थे, ने भी पारिवारिक और वैवाहिक तनाव के चलते आत्महत्या कर ली थी। उनके मामले ने पुरुषों के मानसिक स्वास्थ्य और झूठे मुकदमों की समस्या को लेकर एक बड़ी बहस छेड़ी थी। लेकिन क्या उस बहस का कोई सकारात्मक नतीजा निकला? क्या हमारी सोसाइटी ने पुरुषों की मानसिक पीड़ा और झूठे केस के खिलाफ कोई ठोस कदम उठाए? मानव शर्मा की त्रासदी यह दिखाती है कि अभी भी बहुत कुछ किया जाना बाकी है। पुरुषों की मानसिक स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं को गंभीरता से लेने की ज़रूरत है। साथ ही, झूठे मुकदमों की समस्या को रोकने के लिए कानूनी सुधारों की आवश्यकता है। समाज को यह समझना होगा कि पुरुष भी शोषण और अत्याचार के शिकार हो सकते हैं, और उनकी आवाज़ को भी सुना जाना चाहिए। मानव शर्मा की मौत एक चेतावनी है कि अगर हमने अभी भी इस मुद्दे पर गंभीरता से ध्यान नहीं दिया, तो ऐसी त्रासदियां बार-बार होंगी। यह समय है कि हम पुरुषों की मानसिक पीड़ा को समझें, उनकी बात सुनें, और उन्हें न्याय दिलाने के लिए ठोस कदम उठाएं।
