@NickADobos It's interesting how there are a few useless features that absolutely oneshot people in demos. Graph views, fully generative UI, virtual reality. They're recognized as practically useless after any amount of real use but they slay in demos. I think the touchbar is one of these.

Working with CMS, our Enterprise team read the code and documented 100,000+ business rules in plain English using Software Factory, each traced to its exact source line. The alpha that GitLab makes available by being open source + developed publicly is insane. So helpful for platform engineering. We'd otherwise be inventing things like batched background migrations ourselves. docs.gitlab.com/development/da…

Confession: I have been using Gmail's "Improve word choice" suggestions to edit nearly all of my writing. I will begin writing in Gmail and paste the text into a document/slack once I've finished editing it. It is weirdly very good. I did it with this post as well.

We symlink .agents/ and AGENTS.md to .claude/ and CLAUDE.md respectively. I'm confused by product choices like this from Anthropic. Seems to be motivated by product lock-in but I can't imagine that annoyances like this move the needle when the switching cost is already so low.
