The correspondent reported that most residents of the village fled afterward for fear for their safety. Meanwhile, social media users circulated a video showing the arrival of armed forces affiliated with the Syrian Ministry of Interior at the massacre site, amid conflicting reports regarding the identity and affiliation of the perpetrators.
