@webfuzzing @DevMagister @alexdotjs If this is the only reason to use the form tag, then it’s a fairly silly one. A vanishingly small fraction of internet users use a screen reader. I’ve encountered 1 in my entire life across about 19 countries. It would be stupid to make design decisions based on this.

you can use preventDefault() to control the submit and format the form data, turning it into JSON
and for complex or nested fields, a multi-step form is often clearer than a long scrolling layout

The fact that in about 2 years, it may be 10x smarter than us in most ways, and in 4 years, 100x+ smarter. 2028-2030 are unlikely to be dominated by ‘human-ish’ intelligence AIs, but by AIs WAY SMARTER than humans. This will create incredible changes. Most of them amazing, I think.

Helen Joyce is not an expert in gender and sexuality; she is a mathematician. I’ve read her book and it’s full of conspiracy, anecdote and hyperbole. It’s not a serious academic study.

My university @dcu has a masters degree in Gender and Sexuality Studies. The university library does not hold a copy of @HJoyceGender Trans, but has any number of copies of Judith Butler’s works. That’s how seriously it takes activism over the pursuit of learning.
