we held the closing ceremony of our “Empowering Women as Ambassadors Against Extremism” project on 26/11/2025 in Baghdad, with partners incl. Al-Mesalla and @undpiniraq. Women’s leadership is key to countering extremism and driving positive change. 💪✨

Today, we held a productive meeting with Baghdad's Women, Family and Children Department. We discussed collaboration on 2 ongoing projects, SAWA and AlMesalla projects. All to enhance women's role in peacebuilding & preventing extremism!

Thu, Nov 6: Mercy Path + Women, Family & Children (WFC) Dept–Baghdad Governoragte held an in-person fundraising training workshop for 43 WFC staff under #SAWA. With donor budgets shrinking, we practiced private-sector outreach, stakeholder mapping & 60-sec pitches.

Today (Nov 3), Mercy Path joined the 10th ICSEF Quarterly Meeting at Al-Rakeezeh (Baghdad). Updates: Japanese Education Project; education database now 27 orgs—reaching more kids incl. those with disabilities. With MoE, we’re pushing for safe, inclusive learning. #Iraq #Education

Last Thu (Oct 23), we joined the TIP Working Group workshop by @IOMIraq & @UNODC with national partners, the Federal Anti-Human Trafficking Directorate, Supreme Judicial Council, KRG reps, @UNICEFIraq & NGOs. Grateful to collaborate to #EndTrafficking. Follow us for updates.

Mercy Path held a town hall with returnees in Tikrit, Salah Al Din. #Women & #children shared challenges: no jobs, no legal papers, and rejection by host communities. We listen to their voices to advocate for dignity, rights, and reintegration. #Iraq #Returnees
