@Aashfinn The real issue isn't inconveniencing yourself for a man; it's doing so for someone who doesn't reciprocate. Every successful relationship involves some level of sacrifice from both parties. It's either you are in or not.

Good evening Followers, Friends and Family, A few days ago I got a heartbreaking DM from one of my cracked Gunner who fought with me around Damboa, Wajiroko and Sabongari axis Borno State. There was an attack on our location last year May 22nd, RPG bomb was launched at his Camel MRAP by BHT and it came directly to his Gun turret which resulted to him losing an Arm (Hand 🫱🏿) with severe burns on his body 💔. The youngman is presently receiving care at 44 NA Reference Hospital Kaduna but needs all the support he can get at this moment. Today, I respectfully appeal to every compassionate individual to support this Soldier who has sacrificed so much in service to our Nation 🇳🇬. His courage and sacrifice helped protect lives and preserve peace. The injuries he sustained have left him facing daily physical, emotional and financial challenges. Now, he needs our collective support to meet essential needs and live with dignity. Please find attached screenshots of my discussion with him. KINDLY SEND A DM TO SUPPORT HIM WITH WHATEVER YOU CAN 👏🏿👏🏿 #Sentinel #ThankASoldier

Good afternoon @TobswayColours The U.S Navy SEAL Mike Day whose story of surviving 27 gunshots and other War wounds while on a tour in Iraq went viral across several news outlets in the World. Unfortunately, Mike Day passed away in 2023 after years of dealing with the lasting health consequences of his combat injuries. His courage and resilience continue to be remembered by many in the military community. It will interest you to know that we have Nigerian🇳🇬 Soldiers who have also survived such gunshot wounds, RPG hits, IED fragments hit and other battle related injuries with no one to hear their own stories. Painfully, most of our local Media houses will rather lazy around waiting to call the Military out for every error or post unverified stories than visit facilities like UMTH Maiduguri Borno State, 44 Military Reference Hospital Kaduna State and others Hospitals to get firsthand information from those honourable Men. I want you to know that facing an enemy especially a Combatant is hard but trusting in your team, drills and your Commanders is enough to keep you moving despite fear. There is enormous joy and relief that comes from seeing all your team mates made it through a phase and the mission completed. A personal one, around early 2024 while on routine patrol along Bulabulin - Kumala road Damboa a Team member who was a Lieutenant stepped on landmine right in front of me lossen a whole right leg (From the Hip downward) just few months to his wedding 💔. So seeing a comrade wounded is one of the hardest moments for every personnel. Many Soldiers shows an overwhelming determination to protect each other no matter their difference, provide immediate aid to injured colleague and continue the mission if circumstances require it. The bond between teammates is difficult to explain unless you've depended on one another under extreme fire from ambush or attack. Long after the operation ends, what stays with many Soldiers isn't the excitement of combat but the faces of the people they served with, the sacrifices made and gratitude for those who came home. Believe me victory is often quieter than people imagine and dead is faster than the winds. Personally I have lots of combat experience but I am not a good storyteller, I got some everlasting scars from Frontline that will follow me to the grave. Thank you 🫱🏿‍🫲🏾 #Sentinel #ThankASoldier

My husband got a vasectomy... and two months later, I found out I was pregnant. The second I told him, he looked at me with pure disgust He didn't ask questions. He also didn't want explanations. He immediately called me a cheater, packed his bags and walked out on our marriage I begged him to believe me because I have NEVER cheated on him not once. Bui instead of standing by me, he told his family I betrayed him and now some of them won't even speak to me Now I am carrying this pregnancy completely alone... and trying to survive the heartbreak of being abandoned by the man I love most What hurts the most is knowing he never even considered that vasectomies can a At this point I don't even know what to do

@keemside @Big_marvis As for ethnicity, you are still referring to his criticisms of the administration, or did he make statements targeting the President's Yoruba identity or ancestry in a manner that incited ethnic sentiments? If so, kindly provide the exact remarks. T for thanks. We're not toddlers

@keemside @Big_marvis weaponising ethnicity & religion is a serious allegation that should be backed by proof. Both of them are Muslims yeah, and elrufa'i's disagreement doesn't mount to religion weaponisation unless provide proof of which elrufai explicitly framed the issue along religious line.. 2/

President Tinubu appointed El-Rufai as a Minister El-Rufai kinsmen from Kaduna sent a petition against him to the Senate The Senate rejected him based on petition sent by his kinsmen President Tinubu still allowe El-Rufai to have his slot by allowing him to pick his replacement El-Rufai nomianted another Minister El-Rufai nominated CBN Deputy Governor Both the Minister and the CBN deputy Governor were nominated by El-Rufai and they were approved by the senate El-Rufai felt bad he wasn't a Minister in a Government he helped formed Mallam begin to disparage the Party and the President and in all of his brouhaha against the President, the President didn't respond untill Mallam went on a National TV to say he hacked and tapped NSA phone and calls, in a country battling terrorism. Tapping the country’s Top Security apparatus phone is as same as treason. In all of these, i don't know how any reasonable person could come to conclusion that Tinubu betrayed El-Rufai.

#Testimonial Exactly The El-Rufai I Have Come To Know. 👇 EL-RUFAI: TOUGH ON THE JOB BUT NEVER DEFICIENT IN HUMANITY By Terna Francis Ph.D ...by the time I returned to Kaduna state, where I was born and raised in 2019, I was jobless. Though the primary aim of my coming back to the state was to undertake a Doctorate degree program at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, how I was going to do that without a job plus being a family man with twin-boys and a wife was a big source of worry for me. I started scouting for a job, in order not to be a burden onto others. By June, 2019, I was settled in school (Zaria) with serious academic work already in place. Well, I had only 3 courses (first semester) to offer and since it was a PhD program, I was able to collapse the 3 in one day. Thus, I decided to reside in Kaduna; driving to Zaria only on Wednesdays for my lectures. Now, I had 6 days of doing nothing really serious in a week, since my research had not started. It was this period of scouting around for opportunities to engage myself even if just to beat boredom that I got to know about Yasmin El-Rufai Foundation online - a literary foundation. I decided to take a shot by turning in an application to serve as a volunteer. Being the operational head of the foundation, Her Excellency, Hajiya Hadiza El-Rufai saw my CV and invited me for an interview. To cut short the story, at the interview, she was impressed and decided I should start work immediately. This happened without any connection, referral or introduction by any “powerful person”. I started work as a volunteer and I was assigned various important tasks, which by the grace of God, I accomplished successfully. After 3 months, I was engaged fully as Program Officer and later, I rose to become a Manager. It was in the course of working at the foundation that I met His Excellency, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, then serving as governor of Kaduna State. My first meeting with him was when he came to inspect the Hamza El-Rufi Public Library I set up. One thing that stunned me and endeared him further to me, was his humble disposition and willingness to learn as he asked me questions and questioned my answers until we arrived at an answer that was unquestionable and maybe, a question that was unanswerable. I left that day with a different impression about the person of Nasir El-Rufai. Next meeting was in Her Excellency's private sitting room in Kaduna state government house. While I was doing a task for Her Excellency on her computer, the then Governor walked in solemnly and stood behind me for a while before I even noticed he was there. He later invited me to have lunch with him and of course, who would say no to lunch with the “almighty" governor? In as much as he tried to make me feel comfortable at the table, I remained uneasy till lunch ended. One thing that has kept me in admiration of His Excellency is his ability to remember people and call them by their names. After my first meeting with him, he has never missed the name "Terna". This means a lot, particularly within our existential reality. By November, 2019, I wanted to open a Restaurant and Bakery in Kaduna; I told Her Excellency about it and she supported in an uncommon way. In fact, she was there with some Commissioners to perform the opening ceremony and she spoke well of me before my guests. In February, 2020, I was done with my PhD course work and I came back to report and appreciate Her Excellency for her support. It was at that point that she encouraged me to go into lecturing and facilitated my appointment as a lecturer with the Kaduna State University, Kaduna through a meritorious process. Again, by December, 2020, my son, Justin was to undergo a surgical procedure at the National Hospital, Abuja and because it was around Christmas, we looked for blood all round without success. I was ready to pay any amount but found none.

Governor Uba Sani went to Zaria and told the people that he met with the President, who assured him that the Speakership position would remain in Zaria, meaning Tajuddeen Abbas is likely to retain his seat. In my opinion, that is not what the good people of Zaria need or want to hear. What tangible impact has the Speakership had on their daily lives? As governor, what have you done for the people of Zaria, and what concrete plans do you have for them going forward? Those are the conversations we should be having, apart from irrelevant promises and flagging off roads that may never be completed.
