Charging $1,000 to enter an online Open Qualifier? Yeah… that’s not how Counter-Strike esports works in 2025. ❌ You can’t ask 64 teams to pay, then send 48 of them home with NOTHING. That’s literally a pay-to-lose business model. 😂 And once you qualify for a LAN? Flights + hotel MUST be covered by the organizer. If the budget isn’t there 👉 find sponsors. You don’t turn the qualifier into a cash grab. Honestly… this feels like the early 2000s again — when teams had to pay everything themselves to attend international events. But we’ve evolved. This is 2025, and the standard is clear: Teams don’t fund the tournament. The organizer does. Right now, it looks like a $20K event funded by the participants. That’s not esports — that’s a bad plan. Do better.

No doubt G2 at Austin did significantly better than you’d expect given the circumstances. For that he also was praised. However that doesn’t erase everything else, and the overall notion. There’s a reason they didn’t continue with Snax. I also do think Snax would be worthy of a T2 team to prove again he ain’t a bad IGl, which I don’t think he is.

The polish scene fandome and inability to be nuanced & objective when judging Snax is some of the worst I’ve ever seen. Actually blows my mind. It’s so incredibly boring to see myself and my colleagues being harassed whenever you discuss him. Snax was not a BAD IGL in G2, but he was not good one either. He didn’t make a difference calling wise and he certainly didn’t make a difference form an output perspective on the sever. Having covered G2, stod next to them while playing plenty of times, one may even argue he wasn’t the IGL of G2 at the latter part. Which ofc his fans conveniently seems yo ignore. In football terms? He lost the looker room, he lost the trust of his teammates. Why else would they leave the project, and overcall him? The very same could be said for Hooxi, and I don’t think the two in their G2 period was too far apart. One was not significantly better than the other, the difference is most hooxi admires is being honest about it. A nuance is always that leading a team with NiKo & and m0NESY is not easy, nor should it be. Generational talent, with a great understanding for the game. To be, thinking that G2 with: SunPayUs Malbs hunter (IGL) Heavygod MATYS (Saw new coach) Should already now perform better or on par with: Snax NiKo m0NESY hunter malbs (Taz) G2 have looked solid for their short time together, and losing 13-10 x2 vs MOUZ is neither unexpected or a problem at all. I hope to see Snax back at a team of the caliber of GamerLegion at some point soon. No doubt he’s gained a lot of experience, and no doubt he’s not a BAD player.

@kassad In my opinion at some point it makes no sense to always change 1 player and on top of that, recycling the same personnel again and again. Sure it can help in the beginning to sort of rewire the mental state, but sooner or later the same problems begin to creep in

I wish BIG would explain these moves and what's going on. Despite the lack of results of any kind, I believe they still have a decent fan base. I'm sure they would also like to understand.
