The most clownworld thing about this thing with Mimi Yanagi being arrested for loli drawings is that the UK authorities are completely ineffective in policing realistic AI CSAM. A couple of months ago, the Internet Watch Foundation dropped its report on AI CSAM, and the results were shocking. Over 8000 images and videos were detected, with more than half in the category A extreme rating... the kind that includes sexualized violence, penetration, humiliation, torture, and other heinous stuff. Over 95% of this content targeted girls. Many of them are actual real children whose likeness turned into CSAM with AI. The problem with hyper realistic AI CSAM has gone into a worldwide industrial scale, and yet thought policing drawings is priority 1 for the UK. The UK needs to get its priorities straight and combat this hyperrealistic AI that's harming actual children, whose likeness is being used to create insane deepfake videos of them.... instead of arresting artists for her drawings, confiscating her devices, merch, body pillows... ... and of course they were also silent on the whole grooming gang scandals, because of mah racism or something other BS.

@ObviousRises Is this the "chibi art" being referenced? If so, I'd have questions too.

KojitsuVT acts as another VTuber who is defending the jackboots of oppression in the UK, while liking anime that could also land them in trouble themselves. For context, To Love Ru, The Dangers in My Heart, and Gushing Over Magical Girls all have loli or loli-adjacent content with heavy fan service or straight-up porn. To Love Ru has constant panty shots, nudity, fan service, and sexualized loli adjacent characters. The Dangers in My Heart has very petite child coded middle school characters with romantic, fan service, and lewd framing. Gushing Over Magical Girls is an extremely lewd yuri-ecchi loaded with BDSM, domination, tentacles, heavy nudity, and various fetishes, looking at very young-looking magical girl characters. It's fucking obvious that Kojitsu is someone who is a lolicon fan, and now he is trying to reframe it as irony or sarcasm.... Sure Jan... 🙄 He can't get enough of the flavor of formaldehyde soaked authoritarian jackboots when its crushing out freedom of expression but don’t you dare point out his own preference for anime that's dripping with sexualized underage girls along with heavy ecchi porn that the law they’re simping for would send them to the gulag if drawn by an indie artist.

Why was no one talking about this So apparently a Korean fan of wuwa made a donation to help a child with pediatric cancer. And put the name of the person who donated as Aemeath And they left a message to the child with Cancer saying "I hope you can be as happy as you want, even in the long life ahead of you."

If you support what the UK government is doing to Mimi, or censorship of any kind of fictional art, I’ll unfriend and block you. Not only because censoring ideas and fiction is abhorrent, but also because it’s a clear sign you don’t distinguish reality and fiction.

Did you know you can oppose government censorship without supporting the content? You can think something is awful, refuse to engage with it, and still not want the government deciding what gets removed. Because the moment we justify censorship based on “I don’t like this,” we hand that same power to someone else, who might decide your work crosses the line. That’s how that works.

The ardent defenders of lolcalization will parrot the typical localizer talking point that the Japanese dialogue is "too boring" while simultaneously praising localizers turning all Japanese scripts into the same carbon copy quip-filled mockery of the original. They don't actually like Japanese media, they only like the anime aesthetic combined with goofy Western writing & sensibilities.
