My name is Abdul Wahab. I am pleading with my Football Twitter (FT) family and everyone on this app to please RT. I am on the verge of losing a life-changing opportunity simply because of where I come from, and I have worked too hard to bottle it now. I grew up in extreme poverty in a small village called Kwabenantene in the Ahafo Region. I am the very first person in my family and my entire village to ever get a university education. My path was never easy. To survive undergrad, I literally had to drop out of classes mid-semester, pack my bags, and go back home to do heavy construction work just to raise enough money to survive the next term. I was laying bricks to pay for my textbooks. Despite having zero financial safety net, I poured my blood and sweat into my studies and graduated with First-Class Honours in Economics, ranking in the top 1% of my entire cohort of 435 students. But I didn’t just want to succeed alone; I went back to my village, gathered the youth, and started teaching and mentoring them. Because of that work, two students from my locality have now successfully made it into university too. I want to lift my people up. All this hard work finally paid off: I just received admission into the highly prestigious, integrated Masters/Ph.D. Economics program at Goethe University Frankfurt (GSEFM) in Germany! My tuition is officially 100% waived. However, I am facing a massive roadblock. Because the program is so competitive, I wasn't put directly into the fully-funded Ph.D. cohort right away. Instead, I was admitted to the MSQ track for Year 1. I will take the exact same rigorous classes alongside the Ph.D. students, and if I pass my Year 1 qualifying exams, I transition directly into the fully-funded Ph.D. I know I will pass those exams. The academics don't scare me. The finances do. My only problem right now is getting funding to cover my Year 1 living expenses in Frankfurt. If I can just survive these first 12 months, the Ph.D. funding takes over and my future is secured. To my FT family: you guys know my grind and my loyalty. If I get this lifeline, I promise I will proudly represent FT in every academic hall, conference, and research room I ever step into. I just need a chance to be in the room. The day my doubt became real that god could be a fiction, I simply went on the net to get a confirmation of any miracle that had been captured on camera. This was make-or-break point for me as a truth-seeker. It is totally inconceivable that the god described in the Bible cannot perform even ONE irrefutable miracle to be captured on camera. I saw nothing. It was the last sniffing out of a dying ember. In the absence of such a low threshold of evidence, your faith just has no option but to die a natural death.

I might be the only one who doesn’t see anything worth celebrating about the birth and death of Jesus Christ. As someone who values logic and rational thinking, it’s a concept that has never fully made sense to me. I often find myself asking a question many people seem to avoid because it makes them uncomfortable: what exactly did the coming, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ truly achieve in practical terms? If the central claim is that his death changed the world, then where is that change? “It is finished,” we’re told. But what exactly was finished? We still live in a world filled with sickness, death, war, and suffering. In fact, one could argue that things have only become more complex, more chaotic, and, in many ways, worse. So what exactly did his death change? We are told it brought “salvation.” But salvation from what, exactly, and into what certainty? Even with this supposed gift, nothing appears guaranteed. You still have to struggle, obey, endure, and hope you have done enough to qualify. So is it truly a gift, or just another system of conditions wrapped in spiritual language? We are told he died for our sins, yet sin did not disappear. If anything, it feels more normalized than ever. So was the problem truly solved, or merely redefined? And here is the part that puzzles me the most: if Jesus came to give humanity power over death, where is that power? We are told he conquered death, yet death remains undefeated in every physical sense we can observe. Everyone still dies. Everyone still fears it. So what does “victory over death” actually mean beyond a comforting phrase? What changed in any tangible sense? If Jesus had never been born and never died, what is the absolute worst outcome we would be facing today that we are not already experiencing? Would the world be drastically different, or are we simply holding on to a belief because we were taught to, rather than because we can clearly see its results? And if the entire promise rests on eternal life, something no one has returned to confirm and no one can conclusively prove, something that is not even guaranteed, then aren’t we basing everything on a hope that demands belief without evidence? I am not asking these questions out of disrespect, but out of genuine curiosity. If something is claimed to be the greatest turning point in human history, then its impact should be undeniable, not something that constantly requires explanation and faith to sustain it.

Carnival should read the full story. God did not do any of those things to Him. He gave Satan permission to act and do what Satan wanted to do. Satan's initial complaint was that God had built a hedge around Job so that no misfortune could befall him. So a better analogy would be that Carnival wanted to kill those people but there was a being protecting them and keeping him from doing it. Carnival persuades the being to let him in and cause damage on the grounds those people are really just as nasty as Carnival, and the way they respond to the tragedy he will cause will prove it. Then he does it and it turns out Carnival was full of fecal matter. That part of the analogy is spot on, including in real life.

Me and this guy don Dey pass around the same 20k since 2024. His birthday is in March, I sent him the 20,000 during his 2024 birthday. One month later, mine came around and he sent me 20,000. When he bought a car later that year I gifted him 20,000 for fuel. Less than 2 months after he gave me 20,000 because I was in a pinch back then, December Christmas Day I sent him 20,000 to enjoy himself. He sent me 20,000 back on New years😭 I don tire for this guy, at this point we’re just looking for reasons to send each other that 20,000🙄 It’s never been anything more or anything less😂.
