⛽️ local petrol station to fill up car this morning. It has four EV chargers. Six cars are waiting to be charged. Car number six expects to wait four hours before he can start charging his car, which will then take at least two hours. Chris Bowen, you're an absolute genius 🤪

Qantas A380 VH-OQC operated QF11 yesterday after being AOG for 24 days with a skin corrosion problem. She was AOG for 39 days in Dec/Jan with slat delamination & wing structure problem.
She only returned from storage & heavy maintenance on 7 Dec. Did somewhat say hangar queen?

So that happened, the BP Baranduda just jumped prices to $3 per ltr for 91.. weirdly 98 costs the same.. diesel is $3.49
It's a great time to consider an EV.

@analyticflying @LachlanB_ @JulianBAbbott The ACARS messages for VA1 did also consider MEL as an alternative. I agree though that’s it’s odd it didn’t just go to PER.

@LachlanB_ @JulianBAbbott Yeah, it was probably generic and sent to all aircraft. They'll probably get on the Satcom to ground in Sydney and work out a plan, or alternate plan.

All Qatar Airways flights from Australia to Doha now returning back due to Qatari airspace closure. All received pretty simple ACARS messages from QR operations. See the message VA21 (QR8406) received. 6 flights affected so far, some with fairly long returns.
