Making CCTV footage of counting rooms public is a legitimate demand to ensure transparency & accountability. In fact, ECI should start live-streaming of the counting centres, strong rooms & polling booths for all elections. This will help build public trust in electoral processes. It is routinely done in several jurisdictions. See below, livestream of the counting centre in Maricopa County in the US. The live stream is 24*7, available even when there are no elections being conducted.

BJP leaders comparing elected MLAs of Punjab to cattle shows the deep contempt they have for democracy and for the people of Punjab. These MLAs were chosen by 3 crore Punjabis, not appointed by BJP headquarters. पंजाब में एक ही दिन में कल 2 सेंसिटिव ठिकानों पर ब्लास्ट हुए। पिछले हफ़्ते पंजाब में एक रेल ट्रैक पर धमाका हुआ था। दिन दहाड़े गोलियाँ चल रही हैं। Law and Order व्यवस्था पूरी तरह बिगड़ चुकी है। ऐसे में पंजाब सूबे के मुख्यमंत्री 200 गाड़ियाँ और बसों में पंजाब के विधायकों को भेड़-बकरियों की तरह भरकर दिल्ली लेकर आते हैं! माननीय राष्ट्रपति से अकेले मिले और सारे विधायकों को अपने नाम की तख्ती पकड़ाकर बाहर धूप में खड़ा कर दिया। पंजाब विधानसभा में जहां क़ानून व्यवस्था पर चर्चा होनी चाहिए थी, वहाँ भगवंत मान शराब पीकर आते हैं और बहकी बहकी बातें करते हैं। क्या मज़ाक़ बना दिया है पंजाब का इन लोगों ने?
