£48,174. That’s how much Hounslow Council spent on a single rainbow crossing, the most expensive in England. Meanwhile, councils claim they’re struggling to fund basic services. Is this a justified expense, or a complete waste of taxpayer money?

If we really want to be taken seriously when we talk about sending Iran “back to the stone ages” then this is what needs to happen. The US needs to bomb Iran’s: Power & water infrastructure Bank and financial institutions Production/storage facilities for fertilizer and pesticides Every single Islamist/regime “cultural heritage” sites, including every single mosque Natural gas and oil pipelines Kharg Island Civil logistics hubs Courthouses and jails All of these need to be hit. We need to deprive Iran of all the niceties of a moderne day society, and we need to do so now. And then we need to make the people beg on their knees for humanitarian food assistance from the international Red Cross so that the people force Iran to surrender to the US. This is how you WIN wars. Cutis LeMay understood this very well. It’s time to carpet bomb Iran. Force them to their knees. Destroy the infrastructure. It’s the only way.

Succession star Brian Cox, turning 80, has gone nuclear on Hollywood. He called Johnny Depp “so overblown” and “so overrated” and admits he turned down a role in Pirates of the Caribbean because he refused to work with him. Discussing other actors, he said he thought Edward Norton was 'a pain in the a**e', Kevin Spacey was a 'a stupid, stupid man' and that Ian McKellen's acting was 'not to his taste'. And his rant on Hollywood stars didn't end there, as he added that Quentin Tarantino was 'meretricious', Michael Caton-Jones was 'a complete a***hole' and that David Hare was a 'see you next Tuesday'. On his own co-star Jeremy Strong’s intense method acting: “It’s fing annoying” and “American s”. He added: “I’m nearly 80… F*** it, I’m gonna say what I want.” Last year, Daniel Day-Lewis hit back at Brian after the the Scottish actor dismissed method acting as 'American s***'. Daniel is famed for 'the process', an intense rehearsal technique through which he attempts to channel a given character's inner motivations and emotions through lived experience. And Brian referenced this during a chat with Variety, in which he was bemoaning Jeremy's method acting on the set of Succession. 'It’s really a cultural clash,' he said. 'I don’t put up with all that American s***. I’m sorry. All that sort of "I think, therefore I feel." Just do the job. Don’t identify. 'Of course, Jeremy was Dan Day-Lewis’ assistant. So he’s learned all that stuff from Dan.' Responding to Brian's dismissive comments, Daniel then told The Big Issue: 'Listen, I worked with Brian Cox once and got somehow drawn into this handbags-at-dawn conflict inadvertently. 'Brian is a very fine actor who’s done extraordinary work. As a result he’s been given a soapbox… which he shows no sign of climbing down from. 'Any time he wants to talk about it, I’m easy to find.' The trio all worked together in the 1997 film The Boxer, with Brian and Daniel taking on leading roles while a then-unknown Jeremy served as Daniel's assistant. Daniel continued: 'If I thought during our work together I’d interfered with his working process, I’d be appalled. 'But I don’t think it was like that. So I don’t know where the f*** that came from. Jeremy Strong is a very fine actor. I don’t know how he goes about things, but I don’t feel responsible in any way for that.' While Brian is best known these days for his role in Succession, he has an illustrious career.

No refugee underfunded a hospital. No refugee closed a school. No refugee gave tax breaks to the rich. Instead of scapegoating refugees, let's tackle the real problem: an unjust economic system that concentrates wealth in the hands of the few.

If the Jew Hunters come to your area and knock on your door - you don’t have to engage and you can close the door without saying a word to them. Then they don’t know if you support them or you don’t. Afterwards what you should do, if you are Jewish or support Jewish people in your community is go online and complain to the police about feeling intimidated by them and scared of what they will do with your information. The police are saying they will only stop them if reports are made from householders. So please do it. Stand up to the new fascists in High Viz and Keffiyehs. An online complaint doesn’t take long. #SheffieldJewHunt
