Hungarian authorities detained seven Ukrainian nationals — including a former intelligence general — who were transporting $40 million, €35 million and 9 kg of gold from Austria to Ukraine in two armored cash vehicles through Hungary. The Hungarian tax authority has launched a money-laundering investigation, and the individuals have been expelled from Hungary. What makes this even more alarming is that since January more than $900 million, €420 million and 146 kg of gold have reportedly been transported through Hungary toward Ukraine. Armored vehicles full of cash and gold moving across Hungary is not how legitimate financial transactions usually work. The real question is simple: who stands behind this money and what is it meant to finance? Hungarian authorities have launched a full investigation. Now those responsible must provide answers.

O Governo português organizou uma operação de repatriamento de cidadãos portugueses (e alguns estrangeiros) do Médio Oriente devido à escalada do conflito na região.
A operação envolveu:
- Um avião militar C-130 da Força Aérea Portuguesa;
- Uma aeronave A330 fretada à TAP (voo comercial charter).
Todos os repatriados tiveram de assinar um termo de compromisso para pagamento de 600 € por pessoa, valor a reembolsar ao Governo.
Apesar da previsão legal, muitos portugueses estão a reclamar desse montante, que é quase o dobro de uma passagem comercial normal para o mesmo trecho. Realmente é um absurdo!

I almost never get recognized in Portugal by Portuguese which is odd cause a lot of my audience is from there and I live there, I guess cause the Portuguese tech talent left Portugal and just works elsewhere (like US, UK, etc)
But I do get recognized in Brazil a lot in random places like here, so many entrepreneurs and devs here who are also on X, there's so much energy here of people building stuff it's really exciting
