@Lockhead Why do you think Kiro would be on the list ? Outside of the AWS internal devs and some of AWS community members, who would be using it ?

Agentic coding is slowly taking over? Is it? I am not sure - there are so many different tools 🛠️ available. What are you using right now? Kiro? Codex? Claude? Antigravity? Copilot? I personally think the orchestration matters a lot and that's a differentiating factor for these tools. 2026 is going to bring some consolation - what do you think which tools will survive? #AIcoding #DeveloperTools #AgenticAI #FutureOfCoding

Hot take: Are we overcomplicating Kubernetes resource orchestration? 🤔 With tools like Crossplane V2, KRO, and ACK all competing for mindshare, the real question isn't "which is best?" but "which solves MY problem?" Before you jump on the latest hype train, ask yourself: • What cloud providers do you use? • How complex is your resource graph? • What's your team's learning curve tolerance? • Do you need day-2 operations support? Dive into the technical comparison here: lckhd.eu/bjeL1D #Kubernetes #PlatformEngineering #CloudInfrastructure #TechDecisions

@JannikWempe once you have your IaC defined in CFN, you don’t have churn. CDK is constant churn.

@mikepb78 What do you mean by GenAI IaC? Why not CDK + AI? 🤔

GenAI IaC > CDK.
Jannik Wempe@JannikWempe

@mm_ramoz Yeah, AI has probably a better idea of CDK. But things like Live Lambda, Cloudflare integration and easy deployments for lots of web frameworks are still strong selling points for me.

Hey @craigzLiszt, @endpoint, @emilyinvc, @michelleefang I've been posting a bit about myself lately but with this selfie I'm 𝐧𝐨𝐭 announcing my move to sf :-) But I've been fortunate that I was able to travel there (for real) in 2025 after having made 5+ stops there for layovers without ever leaving the airport! Last year I got lucky and yes, it is a really amazing city! If you're living in SF, what is what you most love about it? #BuildInPublic

@VinnyLingham Was this via parallel agentic development? I do find running parallel work on isolated branches does speed up things.

AI may have made developers 2-3x better, but the spectacular gains have been where it's turned 10x developers into 100x developers. I'm witnessing this phenomenon firsthand...

@astuyve @jsneedles Maybe this is the theme. Kill all products not going to get updates (app runner / light sail etc). And add missing features to ones that are guaranteed support.

Perhaps my favorite new AWS launch is ECS Express Mode. You need a container image and some credentials and... that's it! you get an autoscaling container with sane defaults But the coolest part is that you can easily create a public or private application, with no extra work

NEW: Lambda FINALLY adds multiconcurrency support with Lambda Managed Instances! Sandboxes process multiple concurrent requests when deployed into EC2 clusters managed by AWS. You pick the instances, and you can set the max concurrency per sandbox. MEANING: No more cold starts!

Just as Windows sucks in the ways that it does not fit the needs of some users, Linux sucks because it does not meet the needs of MOST users. Conversely, Windows is ideal for a LOT of users. Linux is ideal for some users. Both are fine operating systems by almost all measures, but whether it sucks for you will be measured by how well it does the things you want and need to do all day long. I use both, but for VERY different things.

@markgurman @EdLudlow I do not miss having CarPlay in my Tesla as I find the Tesla ecosystem complete. If it is not replacing Tesla navigation and I have Apple Music, Spotify, text messages already in my Tesla, what is the advantage of an Apple CarPlay in a window - email?
