Certainly if I had more time with this person I hope I would. But every time it’s been a quick interaction. My hope would be that it sparks their curiosity and they feel love from a person who believes in this exactly and seek it for themselves.
If your point is just to shame me for being surface level, well done. You’re right I could certainly go deeper in telling people about Jesus, I also hope that through my actions I can spark someone’s curiosity enough to seek God.

I don’t follow Jesus because my parents took me to church as a kid.
I follow Him because nothing else explains the transformation, conviction, peace & mercy I’ve experienced since I finally surrendered to Him.

“ Do you know Jesus?” Or “Here is a little Jesus for your day”. I have to admit it was never in my habits to speak about “religion” when I was younger. So speaking to people about Jesus was not natural to me. As I’ve left my old church, evolved my relationship with God, and learned more about how to proclaim my faith it’s definitely been easier to speak these conversations.

@pensandpoison Judgement is the worst. Yes we all do it, but ok that’s just someone’s envy coming out in the worst way. This isn’t a problem someone has with others engaging deeply with ideas or challenging themselves, it’s a problem this person has with other people doing more than they are.
