The chase ended when a Town of Porter officer used a PIT maneuver to stop him; Brown was arrested at the scene and reportedly told officers he ran because “I am done like fried chicken.” During questioning, Brown admitted he knew Miller (whom he called “Pops”) from church, had been inside the home with him, and fatally beat him during an altercation before wrapping the body.
