PLEASE SHARE 🙏Please help us locate my sister Clarah Amanda Uyauya (39) and her daughter, Tendai Munyimani (5). They were last seen on the 9th of April 2026 when they left Harare. They were believed to be heading to Shurugwi for school holidays. We have tried to the best of our ability to locate them with no luck and her phone has been unavailable since 09/04/2026. If you have seen them, know their whereabouts, or have any information, no matter how small, please contact the details provided on poster. We are deeply concerned for their safety. Please share this post to help spread the word. Your share could make all the difference. Thank you for your kindness and support. @PoliceZimbabwe

Just imagine if this was a Zimbabwean being Mayor in South Africa. Or someone from Harare being Mayor in Bulaway. In England they don’t care.

Hi Crime Watch Zim. I work for the Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) office here in Zimbabwe. Our office helps people track and verify cargo and vehicles coming through the Port of Dar es Salaam into Zimbabwe. We have engaged with one of Hezy Motors’ clearing agents in Tanzania, and so far there are around 70 vehicles linked to Hezy Motors that are still stuck in Tanzania. Most of them have not been cleared, some have accumulated storage charges, and some have already been auctioned after overstaying at the port. We are advising people who imported cars through Hezy Motors and are struggling to get answers to visit our offices so we can help check the status of their vehicles for free. We can check whether the vehicle is still at the port, has been auctioned, or was never received at the Tanzania port at all. One of the major problems is that some customers pay the full amount to agencies like Hezy Motors, but when the vehicle arrives in Dar es Salaam, there is still an outstanding balance needed before full access to the vehicle documents is released. If that balance is not paid within the required time, the vehicle cannot be cleared and may eventually be auctioned to another buyer. This is where many problems seem to start. Some customers are not being given full access to important documents such as the Bill of Lading or CAP link details. Without those documents, it becomes difficult for customers to independently track or verify the whereabouts of their vehicles. The agent can continue telling the customer that the car is on the way or delayed, while the vehicle is actually sitting at the port accumulating storage charges. In some cases, when we check the system using the chassis number or Bill of Lading, the same vehicle a customer paid for is now appearing under another person’s name because it was auctioned after not being cleared on time. From what we are seeing, Hezy Motors now appears to be struggling to pay the remaining balances required to release many of these vehicles. This may explain why so many vehicles are remaining at the port for long periods and accumulating storage charges. Some customers’ money may have been used elsewhere, making it difficult to clear all the outstanding vehicles. Normally, if business is done properly, a vehicle should be cleared within the free storage period of 15 days. After that, storage charges start increasing daily. Vehicles that remain unclaimed for long periods, usually after around 90 days, can be auctioned according to port regulations. Some customers are being told there are “storage issues,” and in some cases that is true because the vehicles are sitting uncleared while money to release them is still being looked for. We are simply encouraging people who dealt with Hezy Motors and need clarity to come forward so we can help check the real status of their vehicles in our system. TPA's contact details are available below!

Hello @MinistryofTID. When will the companies hired to resurface the Bulawayo-Maphisa road return to complete the Matopos road? This was a tarred road before April 18 and they left us with this dust. I don't think this is how legacy projects should look.

I was at Parirenyatwa Hospital yesterday, and the refurbished that has been done it's quite good. But what I witnessed broke my heart and made my blood boil. Beyond seeing the presidency reduced to a spectacle, I watched handing out of measly handouts to health professionals while they danced like clowns at a circus. To make matters worse, there was an adolescent girl moving around the hospital throwing cash around like confetti, while nurses were being made to dance in humiliation for money. Our healthcare workers deserve dignity, proper salaries, functional hospitals, and respect not public theatrics in spaces meant for saving lives.

🔸Good day @nickmangwana, How were the renovations at Parirenyatwa Hospital @PGHZIM funded? Is it true that every student nurse had to pay $100 towards the renovations every year as well as a $100 renovation fee? Did you thank the nurses for the contribution or you claimed that it was all state-funded? How much did the renovation cost? By what process were the contractors appointed? We need new leaders.🇿🇼

A frightening video shows criminals trying to break into a house in Mahatshula East. Fortunately, one of the residents heard suspicious noises and managed to record the face of one of the suspects during the attempted break-in. Anyone who can identify this man is urged to report to the nearest @PoliceZimbabwe station immediately. 🎥 @Mathuthu

A small appreciation post for something that should really be the norm. Before people start saying “standards are in hell”, hear me out 😆 Kudos to my colleagues at @zetdc_official ZESA and also to Mayor @JMafume and @cityofharare2 Please don’t @ me. Since landing back on 4 April, we have not had a single power cut in this hood. Not one minute. Whatever changed, well done. Maybe Hwange Thermal Power Station is finally fully firing, maybe Kariba’s water levels are carrying the hydro side properly again, maybe somebody somewhere finally tightened a few bolts that needed tightening. Whatever the reason, credit where it’s due. Long may it continue. On the water side, @CityofHarare and Mayor Mafume are also not doing too badly compared to what residents had become used to. Yes, I still have to supplement with borehole water thrice a week, and yes the tap water still arrives looking like weak tea at times, definitely not something to drink straight from the tap yet. But at least water is coming through more consistently than before. That probably sounds like a low bar, because it is. Basic services are supposed to be basic. We should not really be applauding electricity staying on or water coming out of taps. That should be standard procedure in any functioning city. But Zimbabwe has a way of normalising dysfunction for so long that when some level of normal service delivery finally returns, even quietly, people naturally acknowledge it. Not with wild celebrations, just cautious appreciation and a small “tsitsitsitsi”. Hopefully one day we get uninterrupted power, clean drinkable water and proper service delivery without anyone feeling the need to post about it at all. #TheKingIsAround #HappinessIsOurBusiness #MotoMuzhinji

Ramaphosa doing a "private visit" to ED's farm then being welcomed by our local Gupta avengers was not on our 2026 bingo card. No George Charamba commentary, just Cyril, ED and what can only be described as unsolicited diplomatic vibes at the farm.😭🇿🇼🇿🇦 #TheWeek

@BulelaniPhillip The moment he said "the president was interested in learning how ED has assisted local farmers" then i knew straight away that he is lying. So, did he meet any local farmers who shared views on how they have been assisted. Assisting people does not need to be taught.

Surely @British_Airways could make money off of a Gatwick 🇬🇧-Lusaka 🇿🇲-Harare 🇿🇼 service. Without actually looking at the numbers, I'm going to claim that there's enough diaspora, diplomatic corps, businessmen, tourists, and English blooded locals in these countries to fill an Airbus A350 5 days a week on this route.
