لاہور: 22 مارچ 2026. وزیرِ اعظم محمد شہباز شریف کی زیر صدارت وڈیو لنک اجلاس میں امیر ترین طبقے کے زیر استعمال پر تعیش (لگژری) گاڑیوں میں استعمال ہونے والے ہائی آکٹین فیول کے حوالےسے اہم فیصلہ کیا گیا. وزیراعظم نے نوٹس لیا کہ مہنگی ترین گاڑیوں میں استعمال ہونے والے ہائی آکٹین فیول پر لیوی بڑھنی چاہیے. وزیراعظم نے امیر ترین طبقے کے زیر استعمال پر تعیش (لگژری) گاڑیوں پر موجودہ لیوی جو کہ 100 روپے فی لیٹر ہے، اس میں 200 روپے مزید فی لیٹر اضافے کا فیصلہ کر دیا. مہنگی ترین گاڑیوں میں ڈلنے والے ہائی آکٹین فیول پر اب سے 300 روپے فی لیٹر لیوی کا اطلاق ہو گا۔ اس فیصلے سے حکومت کو 9 ارب روپے ماہانہ بچت ہو گی اور وزیراعظم کی ہدایت کے مطابق عوام کو اس بچت سے ریلیف دیا جائے گا. اس فیصلے سے معیشت پر بوجھ کم ہو گا، ملک کا امیر ترین طبقہ بوجھ اٹھائے گا. جہاں نچلے اور درمیانے طبقے کے زیر استعمال عام گاڑیوں میں استعمال ہونے والے ایندھن کی قیمتیں نہیں بڑھائی گئیں، وہیں صرف لگژری گاڑیوں میں استعمال ہونے والے ہائی آکٹین فیول کی قیمت بڑھائی گئی ہے. اس فیصلے سے پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ اور ہوائی جہازوں کے کرایوں میں کوئی اضافہ نہیں ہو گا. ہائی آکٹین کی قیمتوں کے حوالے سے وزیراعظم نے نوٹس لیا تھا اور متعلقہ وزارت کو اس حوالے سے لائحہ عمل تیار کرنے کی ہدایت کی تھی. اجلاس میں وفاقی وزیر خزانہ و محصولات محمد اورنگزیب ، وفاقی وزیر اطلاعات و نشریات عطاء اللہ تارڑ ، وزیر پیٹرولیم و قدرتی وسائل علی پرویز ملک اور متعلقہ اعلی سرکاری افسران نے شرکت کی۔
