Good morning everyone, and happy Friday ❤️ I really enjoyed doing Question Time last night, what an experience. I can see it’s rattled a few of the usual angry lot on here as well… 🤣🤣 What I’ve noticed is the insults ain’t about what I said. It’s the same old stuff. My criminal record, where I went to school… even me Wikipedia page getting changed again. I wish I had a multi millionaire family FYI, then I wouldn’t be working 6 days a week 🤣🤣 Funny how they never add all the good I do in the news and Wikipedia etc. It does make you think, do these people see me as threat to constantly attack me? I’ve made mistakes in my life. I ain’t perfect, never have been. But I’ve owned it, I’ve learned, and I’ve worked every single day to become a better man. And that’s what life is about. I’ve worked hard for everything I’ve got. Nothing has been handed to me. I’m up early pushing every day and I’m looking forward to a pint in the pub once I finish today. But what matters to me the most ain’t the lies online spread about me, it’s real life. I’ve got 14 unbelievable, loyal, hardworking staff, some who’ve been with me since I was 18 years old. This lot have believed in me, and I’ll always back them. I’ve got a loving, happy home. I’ve got a beautiful, kind, caring wife who is the most amazing mum to our children and watching her now she’s 7 months pregnant with our fourth, makes me proud every single day. And my kids… they’re my world. They’re the reason I keep going, no matter what. Because I know what it feels like to have nothing. I’ve been at rock bottom. Sleeping on a pull-out bed on the floor in my mum’s house. No money. No work. Because of my criminal records. I felt lost and like giving up. But I never did. I got my head down. I believed in myself and I built something out of nothing. That’s why I try to spread positivity. That’s why I visit schools, speak to young people, do the Sunday walks, because I want people to know that your past does not define your future. So when the negativity comes online with all the lies and constant digs….. it don’t break me. Because I know who I am. I’m someone who believes in hard work. I’m someone who believes in family. I’m someone who believes in owning your mistakes and becoming better. And I’m someone who believes in this country and its people. We’ve got the greatest country in the world. And I’ll keep going for my family, for my team, and for every single person out there trying to do the right thing. We don’t go home until we’re proud. Have a fantastic Friday. Let’s go and smash it. On the holiest day of the year we are attacked at a Manchester synagogue. Our children walk to school behind barbed wire protected by guns. Yet some still answer this atrocity with “what about…” This is my country, the sanctuary my grandfather found after surviving the Holocaust, promising freedom under the rule of law. Today I pray for the victims, thank the brave who responded and wonder if that promise is fading. A community this small cannot stand alone. If you believe in Britain (wherever you’re from & whatever your faith) you must stand with us. Many Jews cannot imagine a future here and history tells us what follows when that happens.

This week for the first time, I honestly have been feeling like deleting all my social media, walking away from the campaigns, the TV, all of it and just going back to being me. The last month has been proper hard. I’ve had journalists sitting outside my house, knocking on my sister’s door, harassing my family. False stories being written about me. And a few good ones to to be fair, but the majority bad & untrue and incorrect. Online, I’m constantly being labelled by people who don’t even know me. They keep coming for me. They keep trying to slander my name. And the truth is, it’s wearing me down. Even I find it hard. Some days I think, what’s the point? Why are they so interested in me, I don’t get it. But earlier in the week, a man stopped me and said, “My son tried to take his own life last year and then started watching your morning videos, you kept him alive. You kept him here. You helped him. I owe you one.” It has reminded me that even when I feel beaten, even when I feel like disappearing, what I do matters. It’s not about the headlines, the lies, or the labels. It’s about the people who find strength, hope, or even just one reason to smile because of something I’ve shared. If you’re struggling too, please remember: even when it feels like the world is against you, even when you feel like giving up you matter more than you’ll ever know. Recently had a GMC complaint.. my first, I should say, which was along the lines of, “I’m not sure, but I think they might have done something wrong, so can you double check?” And for some bizarre reason, I now have to reflect on it and declare it at ARCP. (No wrongdoing found)

Whilst my brave little boy Henry undergoes his surgery this morning at hospital with Sinéad. I have taken my girls out for breakfast to keep my mind of worrying. I also dressed them (as you can see I don’t know how to do their hair so it is down today😂) I just wanted to say how amazing all the medical staff are in the UK. I spent all evening up the hospital with my dad who’s unwell at the moment and these guys work night and day and are fantastic. It might be one of those weekends….. But we keep on going. Love you all and have a wonderful Sunday. Please West Ham cheer me up this afternoon. Bosh❤️🇬🇧

@miselly501 @mrsDugskullery In my 40 years in the nhs I’ve never seen anyone wearing a national badge on their uniforms. It’s against uniform policy to wear any badge other than your name badge and electronic pass.

Would a surgeon have a pin badge outside of his scrubs in an operating theatre? Any doctors, medics able to answer this for me? I suspect Melanie is fibbing again.
