SCOTUS decided, to inject itself into an ongoing election & at this point no one can say otherwise. It has historically used the Purcell doctrine to ensure that courts aren't meddling in elections, and yet this court felt comfort in doing so. Everyone needs to understand this.

NEWS: Reports suggest SpaceX may be planning a massive 136,000-acre campus in Louisiana, potentially the biggest land deal yet for the company. The rumored site near Pecan Island and Freshwater City in Vermilion Parish would cover roughly 212 square miles, dwarfing SpaceX's current Starbase facility in Texas. Local real estate insider Jim Keaty of Keaty Real Estate has been digging into the rumor after dozens of clients started asking about it. No official documents have surfaced yet, but a few sources are quietly confirming the deal. A Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries employee reportedly said Governor Jeff Landry visited the site during Easter week. Earlier reports pointed to a smaller 30,000-acre purchase near Freshwater City for a potential spaceport. The location offers remoteness, barge access for moving rockets and proximity to rocket fuel resources. It also lines up with the aerospace incentive bills currently moving through the Louisiana legislature, which target companies investing $1 billion or more. Louisiana already has a strong aerospace base with NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, an 829-acre complex employing roughly 3,000 people that has built rockets for over 60 years. If confirmed, this could become one of the largest private land purchases in Louisiana history and a major expansion for the SpaceX-xAI combined company, which is also gearing up for what could be the largest IPO ever in mid-2026. I've switched from working out at home to using a gym. I've found that I'm significantly more productive at the gym. I'm probably doing about 50% more weight and volume during my lifts.

GREG ABEL SAID COMPOUNDING INFLATION AT 8-9% IS A “TERRIFYING SCENARIO” Is this why $BRK.B has raised a monster $397.4B cash position in today’s shareholder meeting? Do they see inflation ramping up? Very interesting 🧐

@MrNOVApolitico It should be politically gerrymandered. Could probably eliminate every Democratic seat.

JFC! Everyone is rightfully focused on the congressional map, but Democrats are facing an absolute wipeout if Louisiana redraws it's state Senate map. They can easily be reduced to 5/39 seats. IMHO my map isn't even a gerrymander davesredistricting.org/join/562f699c-…

I think it's pretty doubtful that they will pursue a 6-0 majority white map FWIW. I think they'll go back to 1 majority Black district because Congressional GOP incumbents don't want to absorb Black voters into their own districts. #lalege

The Louisiana State Legislature will likely hear bills on new maps for Congressional, and perhaps state legislative, districts next week; at least one (SB116) contemplates a map with 6 majority white seats. For some reason, this will not be considered a racial gerrymander

They want easy districts for themselves. That means packing Dems into one district, not watering down big majorities in their own. Particularly in NO area. Carter’s safe district creates Scalise’s safe district.

Louisiana followed the law and passed fair maps twice. Then we were forced to draw the Democrats a free seat that disenfranchised Louisianans. Now, after the Callais ruling, we have the opportunity to correct course and do this the right way. I’m fighting for a map that reflects our state and helps deliver a conservative House majority for @realDonaldTrump and @SpeakerJohnson. We cannot let the Democrats steal the House only to impeach President Trump on day one- let’s get it done.

Governors Landry & Lee now have the clear mandate and authority to deliver strong new congressional maps! President Trump won Louisiana by 22 points and Tennessee by 30 points! Time to get new maps done!

Redistricting Fallout: If the #LaLege wants to return to a 5-1, GOP-leaning map with just a single minority district, the Baton Rouge Capitol will see two members of Congress pitted against each other. More: pro.stateaffairs.com/la/legislature…
