Let us clarify something here, This is for the sake of public education. 1. Paying 119k consultation fee to see a gynaecologist is *not* ridiculous. This is a very fair charge to see a specialist in a private clinic setting. 2. It takes about 15years of medial school and postgraduate education to become a gynaecologist. You can’t see a specialist and pay peanuts. It costs time, money and a lot of work to become a gynaecologist. 3. Many of you gladly pay 500k for wig, you have no problems with 150k for bridal makeup that nobody notices, which will wash away in 3hours and you can even casually pay 50k to tie gele at wedding but you draw the line at paying less than 120k to see a gynaecologist for your healthcare. If you can spend premium money on ephemeral things like wig and makeup, pls kindly prioritise your health, dear Nigerians. 4. The only way you can see a specialist and pay cheap or pay nothing is if the service is subsidised or funded by the government or by NGOs. This is why government hospitals are cheaper, or sometimes free, compared to private hospitals. You may pay nothing as an end user but someone else is actually covering the true costs of that service. 5. This takes me to my final point: Marie Stopes in Nigeria is a non-profit NGO that is heavily funded by donor grants and international organisations who subsidise the actual costs to make it cheap for you the end user. It is a bad argument to compare Marie Stopes (funded by NGO money) to a private clinic gynaecologist that relies solely on being run by patient’s fees. The actual cost in Marie Stopes will be far higher if not for the donations of good people and organisations who ensure the doctors are well paid and you won’t need to pay high for treatments or consultation. I know life is tough in Nigeria and people find accessing good healthcare very expensive for the average person, however this is not the gynaecologists fault. This is the governments fault who have impoverished us, made us poor, failed to maintain the public hospitals and who have made people’s earnings so little that they can’t afford healthcare. I hope this explanation is helpful.

Sorry about your experience. 119,000 for consultation with gynecologist is ridiculous. Something that is just 30k at Marie Stopes 😭. Even registration fee is just 5000 naira and their service and care is amazing. I wish more people knew about them.

Why does LemFI consistently have the worst rate in the market. Like no effort whatsoever, just completely out of touch with other apps.

It was a profound moment of reflection and transformation as the Word on the subject “To Be Like Christ” poured forth with depth, insight, and rich revelation at WOFBEC 2026, themed “Thy Kingdom Come.”🔥 Timeless truths were unveiled, hearts were realigned, and destinies were awakened. As it was powerfully declared: “YOU LOSE DESTINY, IF YOU CAN’T FIND THE ORIGINALITY.”✍️ This encounter is undoubtedly preparing God’s people for the realities, responsibilities, and rewards of His Kingdom, calling us back to Christ; the original pattern. All glory to God forever. Hallelujah! 🔥👏

As you step into the new year, understand that God is your source and only source. Choose to trust in him and listen to his instructions. Don't associate with people as a "taker" having hidden expectations on how they should act towards you and when that is not fulfilled, you switch on the person and start becoming passively aggressive towards them. Choose to be a blessing unto others and seek your reward only from God, and you will be amazed at the doors he will open for you in the new year.

FATHER OF MERCIES "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;" - (2 Corinthians 1:3) READ: Psalm 25:1-6 Today's memory verse tells us that God is the Father of mercies. This means that He is not only merciful but the source of mercy. God is rich in mercy (Ephesians 2:4), and His mercy is renewed every day (Lamentations 3:22-23), implying that His mercy is unlimited. God's mercy can transform every aspect of a believer's life that needs transformation. For instance, if a believer has health challenges or financial problems, God's mercy can conveniently turn the believer's situation around. His mercy is not one-sided; it is multi-dimensional and perfect. When the Father of mercies shows up in a fellow's life, He can restore any opportunities that he or she might have lost and make everything new for such a fellow. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. - (Romans 9:15-16) We can see that even though God's mercies are unlimited, they are not accessible to everyone because God Himself decides the people He shows His mercy. Before God can dispense His unlimited mercies on a fellow, the fellow needs to acknowledge Him as his or her Father. As the Father of mercies, He only releases His unlimited mercies to His children. While it is true that He causes the sun to shine on everyone, both good and bad (Matthew 5:45), there are certain levels of His mercies that He has reserved only for His children. If you are truly God's child, your relationship with Him will give you access to His everlasting mercies. Only God's children have access to the full complement of His mercies; those who are not His children can only enjoy crumbs. God's mercy is rich and multi-dimensional; however, a fellow must become His child to enjoy them. To unbelievers, He is a consuming fire, but to His children, He is compassionate and slow to anger (Psalm 145:8). Beloved, if you are not yet born again, do not waste another minute outside the tender arms of the Father of mercies. He alone can give you a rich and fulfilling life on earth and guarantee your place in His kingdom for all eternity. If you are already His child, live in obedience to His will, and He will shower you with His abundant mercies. PRAYER POINT: Father, please help me to experience Your tender and manifold mercies in every area of my life. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Revelation 15-17 Open Heaven Devotional by Pastor E A Adeboye

Sarah Achi, the wife of Venerable Edwin Achi, remains held captive for over 57 days now. She was kidnapped alongside her husband, who was tragically killed by the bandits while in captivity. Shockingly, the kidnappers have posted mocking images of her and their daughter on social media, including on Facebook. Where is the action from our elite security units? Where are @HQNigerianArmy @PoliceNG @OfficialDSSNG? It's time to prove your capabilities, do not let us down. Rescue Sarah Achi and bring her home immediately.

CHRISTIAN GENOCIDE UPDATE: REV. ACHI’S FAMILY STILL IN CAPTIVITY On October 28, 2025 Venerable Edwin ACHI, an Anglican priest was abducted from his home in Kaduna, along with his wife and daughter. After days in captivity, the terrorists threatened to murder him, and they did, in late November. Till this day, his terribly traumatized widow and daughter are still in captivity. Don’t even talk about the horror and abuse they must have endured. QUESTION TO @officialABAT and @HQNigerianArmy, why are these people still in captivity as Nigerians “Detty-December” in Lagos and beyond? @SecRubio @RepRileyMoore @TomColeOK04 @RepFranklin @JackBrewerBSI @jackbrewerfdn
