@DungeonNoir I flipped through that RPG one day at the store. Thought about getting it to play with my daughter. Actually looks pretty good.

"Most of us are living far below our potential… We are creating this work, not because it has to be done, but because we are busybodies and do not know how to swim on the river of life.
I think it would be much, much better if people were told to be lazy, to shake the job, to be idlers, to enjoy, to relax... not care, not worry.
I don’t say to be quiet and do nothing. I don’t say that at all. But I say it should make sense, it should have meaning what we do."

WHAT IF—The former Lead Art Director and "best in-house game-runner" for MtG and D&D had been secretly working on the "Ultimate Fast, Fun, and Gritty OSR Compatible System and Setting" to ever grace a table?

@romanhelmetguy I just looked it up in Gemini and it had no issue finding it, sourcing it, and explaining it.

My name comes from the book Silverlock by John Myers Myers. It was a book published in 1949. It follows a man that is shipwrecked in a land of literary characters. Ranging from Beowulf, Robin Hood, and Tom Sawyer. Part of the fun is figuring out who a lot of the characters are.
In the 80s I first saw the book in a book store and the cover with so many characters interested me. I no longer have that paperback, but I do have a first edition as well as a nice hardcover and a custom leather bound.
I have always liked stories. That’s why I love RPGs, books and movies.
In the early 90’s the internet was crazy and finding sites was an adventure in itself, especially in finding and exploring MUDs, MUSEs, MUSHs and other similar sites (all by telnetting). It reminded me of the book so I made it my internet name.

@memeslich I feel like at this point, anyone who cares about D&D doesn’t really care what D&D does anymore.

@CorpseKings Still love me some D&D, but getting all your hit points back after a long rest turned it into a video game.
