in SGA v Luka debates… if you want to argue SGA has a higher floor while Luka has the higher ceiling, I can 10000% be on board w it & tbh think it’s the best way to articulate the difference btwn the two. SGA just objectively has an elite level of consistency, but a locked-in Luka reaches heights very few have reached

With Wemby likely being eligible for awards this season and Luka as well as others likely missing out here’s some food for thought. Wemby Total Minutes: 1,784 Luka Total Minutes: 2,289 The 65 game requirement is extremely flawed. Luka has basically played 16-17 more total GAMES than Wemby this season but could be penalized for not meeting threshold. It makes no sense.

I reject the notion that Wembanyama's MVP case stems solely from a "late surge" from the team. After going 27-2 through the last 29 games, the Spurs and OKC have remained where they've been for pretty much the entire season—at the top. The media didn't take San Antonio seriously until later in the season, but they've been winning the entire time, and Vic has been dominating from the beginning. They act like the run over the past 2 months propelled the Spurs to the second seed from the play-in or something. They've been top 4 in the standings almost the entire year.
