Every party—Congress and opposition—was supporting the Women’s Reservation Bill, but no one was supporting the Delimitation Bill. So, if the BJP wanted, they could have brought them separately, which would have allowed the Women’s Reservation Bill to pass.

Today, we all saw the true face of Congress, TMC, DMK and Samajwadi Party. By blocking the Constitutional Amendment that would reserve one-third of seats in Lok Sabha and State Assemblies, they have denied women their legitimate rights.
