Meeting is Tuesday, 1/20, at 7 PM. Still at 211 South High as of this update. 👉At some point, the question needs to be if Howser should resign (secrecy, conflict on roles, not moving the meeting).

As I left the White House today, after leaving the coat check at the WH I remembered that according to our marital division of labor, Sarv was in charge of all tipping. He got ready before each trip or even leaving the house (I was in charge of all travel arrangements) with a stack of “crispies” — clean notes that could be used for tipping service people generously. One of his special people skills, which I experienced early on, was to tip all the relevant people at the BEGINNING of the cruise or hotel stay, to ensure top service throughout. Mind blown! It was always a five star experience traveling with a man who took care of these details so we could have an amazing time. 🥰

To encourage people to bring their mistakes into the open and analyze them objectively, managers need to foster a culture that makes this normal and that penalizes suppressing or covering up mistakes. We do this by making it clear that one of the worst mistakes anyone can make is not facing up to their mistakes. #principleoftheday
