@inkblurt I loved that idea, too. (And my “hello world” post to mastodon — magically re-energized to engage over there(s))

Delighted to see @carologic @ddegler Rebecca expanding their AI framework: more context signals, mapping communication/negotiation/coordination time cycles over different branches of AI #IAC22 (I want my "5 more days" in the San Diego gather room :) )
IAC - Information Architecture Conference #IAC26@theiaconf

Next up @theiaconf "IA for AI: Shaping the Experience for Human-AI Systems" with Duane Degler, Carol Smith & Rebecca Evanhoe. #IAC22 attendees, login for details ow.ly/XnX830sgZ89

Here it is: humanity’s final look at @NASAWebb as it heads into deep space to answer our biggest questions. Alone in the vastness of space, Webb will soon begin an approximately two-week process to deploy its antennas, mirrors, and sunshield. #UnfoldTheUniverse

Saturn's moon Iapetus imaged by NASA's @CassiniSaturn on November 11, 2005 #OTD. Iapetus is 913 miles (1,469 km) wide—a little less than half the size of our Moon. Image credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech/SSI/Cassini Imaging Team/Jason Major

This image of the sun got me shortlisted as astrophotographer of the year. It shows an active region around some sunspots, and Jupiter-sized plasma arcs caught in a series of magnetic loops pulling out of the atmosphere. I'm proud of this one. #astrophotography #space #opteam

Today is my actual birthday, and this one is from my oldest, 15. Not sure it is accurate, but it is a kind thing to say, and right now I'll take it.

This image from #apollo17 taken 47yrs ago today is probably the clearest known of an Apollo astronauts face on the moon. I've just tried to make it a little clearer. Fantastic detail in the LRV too (putting Jack out of focus a little tho). #nasa #apollo50th #moon #photography

After >40 years of space travel, Voyager 1 has discovered an intriguing new signature of plasma vibrating in the interstellar medium. Thanks to this detection, we can now continuously track the structure of interstellar space traversed by Voyager 1!
Nature Astronomy@NatureAstronomy

A weak, previously undetected, plasma oscillation is aiding Voyager 1 to measure the density of the interstellar medium without the need for Solar ejections. Work from @space_ocker and colleagues. @NASAVoyager @CornellAstro
