@PaulSkallas Just got back from London and costs of meals and activities was less expensive than Dallas-where we live, and def less than NYC. Housing is much less expensive than major US markets. And London has free healthcare. And mass transit. And. And. And….

Boy, I don't get London. How can it be at New York prices but salaries are half of New York? No one is saving any money, I assume?

I have taken a bit of a Twitter hiatus over the summer. I have still been keeping up, but needed a break from doing much posting. Planning on being more consistent in the fall. Here is a quick update: Still own a small portfolio of storage buildings. Storage has been slow, but relatively steady. Launched a rolloff dumpster rental business in Feb to add a service business. We are hitting about 12K in revenue a month with 1 truck and 12 dumpsters. Yes, this is tiny, but there is room to grow and places to automate. Plan on posting a lot more about this as I build. In the process of building a 12K industrial building with plans to add several more in the next year+. My goal with the dumpster business is to use the cashflow for real estate with the intent to sell business at some point. I am at a point in my life where I am optimizing for time. This means I am always trying to increase revenue while maintaining a work schedule that allows me to prioritize my family.

@Johnyalamo Yes but there are already hundreds of apts in the area and more coming and it is a lot of traffic around 5 to 7 when pple come home. This is a corridor that wasn’t built to be a corridor

💯But Melissa Kingston’s lecture was interesting. I get what she is saying but if you want to run for Council you gotta listen to the voters and Jaynie set the tone by telling the constituents she didn’t want to hear opinions. You sow what you reap.

@TheJSantiago Yes to a few of the larger markets in OH as I think there are some cool areas and growth. And yes in Ark as parts of it are beautiful and growing. No on the others- but I admittedly don’t know them as well as OH and Ark..

Raising 3 teen girls has been quite the challenge. I have one who is my wild child. Love her but she wears us out. She had some friends sleepover last week. After they left, I found this. She said “It’s a cake icing decorating tool”. Haven’t googled yet, but “WeHi”? C’mon kid!
