While China was busy shipping missile chemicals to Iran and collecting yuan tolls at Hormuz, someone was inside its most sensitive supercomputer stealing everything. CNN reports that a hacker group calling itself FlamingChina breached the China National Supercomputing Center in Tianjin and exfiltrated up to 10 petabytes of classified defence data. The samples posted on dark web forums include bomb and missile designs, animated explosion simulations, structural integrity tests, renderings of the J-20 stealth fighter, sixth-generation aircraft concepts, nuclear submarine schematics, hypersonic weapons systems, and target analyses for American assets including HIMARS launchers and carrier strike groups. Ten petabytes. For context, the entire printed collection of the US Library of Congress is approximately 10 terabytes. This breach is one thousand times that volume. It is being sold for cryptocurrency on Breach Forums. Cybersecurity experts who reviewed the previews told CNN the data appears genuine, matching known output patterns from the NSCC Tianjin facility, which serves over 6,000 clients including defence agencies and aviation firms across China. The timing is extraordinary. Trump posted a 50 percent tariff threat on any country supplying military weapons to Iran hours before CNN published this story. Five Chinese vessels shipped sodium perchlorate to Iran from Gaolan Port in the past six weeks, enough propellant precursor for hundreds of ballistic missiles. China’s ghost fleet continues operating through the IRGC’s yuan toll booth at Hormuz. Trump holds the waiver on 140 million barrels of Chinese-bound Iranian crude. The 50 percent tariff threat targets China’s arms pipeline. Last week, my husband sat down with @StevenBartlett from the Diary of a CEO. The behind the scenes on how we got such short notice to do his podcast was insane. Finding flights and trying to cram everything into a short period of time. We were on route to wrap up Pierre's USA tour when we got the email, we were in NYC. So now we had to figure out how to get to LA fast, and back on time for Monday's meetings in Ottawa. There was no way we were going to pass on this. Why? My personal thoughts were because I have watched Diary of a CEO for over a year, and what I have seen from Steven and his team is beyond anything else out there. The level of research they do on their guests, and their capacity to ask ANY question, the tough ones, the more personal ones, in such a professional manner. But also about our beloved Valentina. I can say with confidence that this is THE MOST IN-DEPTH interview Pierre has ever done. Steven did not hold back. But he does it with respect, and in a format that allows people to fully explain themselves. That is the magic of these long-format platforms. Pierre got to share his vision for Canada, the problems, the solutions. He also got to explain his WHY, which really is rooted in his childhood experiences. I am thankful for platforms like this that, in my personal opinion, are doing a better job than the current media out there. But even more thankful that there are hosts like Steven who operate on the principle of hearing all sides with an open mind and allowing people to express themselves. Mark Carney is seizing a costly Liberal majority that voters denied him, and doing so through backroom deals. In January, MP Gladu said that floor crossers should face voters in a byelection to give voters the final say. I could not agree more. She should do so. The people in her community voted for our Conservative vision of a Canada that is affordable, safe, and strong at home, not for the costly Liberal government she has now joined. She should honour her word and let voters decide.
