Unpopular opinion but you can’t insist on being in traditionally white spaces, show up dressed like you’re at a nightclub and then act surprised when you aren’t welcomed there.

@_theycallmetrey @trouble_scott @MiamiGotJokes1 It is fitted for the occasion. These interactions reveal that yall either don't attend certain events and/or lack a eye for style. It appears to be an outdoors/garden event during the day. That dress is fitting for the weather and looks of the event.

“Trinity” doesn’t appear in Scripture either, but the concept does 😀 Paul really can’t get clearer than he is in Ephesians 2:1-10. He repeats himself in at least 6 different ways to ensure everyone understands salvation is a free gift of grace “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:4-10

How many times does the phrase "faith alone" appear in the Bible? And what specifically does the Bible say about "faith alone"?

Reason and American history are on my side. It's an issue of loyalties. I am loyal to God and my country. Roman Catholics are loyal to God, the (foreign, head of state) Pope, and their country. So full circle: what if a Pope is captured by another country's (Avignon, France) political apparatus? Checkmate. Thanks for playing.

Question for Roman Catholics: Should Roman Catholic soldiers obey the lawful military orders of President Trump even if the Pope doesn't believe the war is just? Now you can see why America didn't have a Roman Catholic president for almost 200 years.

@pwhhjr There is absolutely no way he read much, if any, Hegel. Wittgenstein notoriously read almost no philosophy. What I think is often overlooked, though, is that he still *knew a lot of about* philosophy: he just got it second-hand from the people he interacted with at Cambridge. 1/

Yeah, I don't really feel like funding 65% of NATO's military strength anymore for these people. They side with Russia when it's convenient, they buy Russian energy, and they do nothing but virtue signal from the sidelines. So let them live in the world they've built.

The leaders of these countries have released a joint statement on the situation in Iran which includes a call to end the war. France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, Romania, Denmark, Iceland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Slovakia, Greece, Spain, Norway, Finland, Japan, along with the European Union. “We welcome the two-week ceasefire concluded between the United States and Iran today.  We thank Pakistan and all partners involved for facilitating this important agreement. The goal must now be to negotiate a swift and lasting end to the war within the coming days. This can only be achieved through diplomatic means. We strongly encourage quick progress towards a substantive negotiated settlement.  This will be crucial to protect the civilian population of Iran and ensure security in the region. It can avert a severe global energy crisis. We support these diplomatic efforts. To this end, we are in close contact with the United States and other partners. We call upon all sides to implement the ceasefire, including in Lebanon. Our Governments will contribute to ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.” Signed By: Emmanuel Macron — France Giorgia Meloni — Italy Friedrich Merz — Germany Keir Starmer — United Kingdom Mark Carney — Canada Nicusor Dan — Romania Mette Frederiksen — Denmark Bjarni Benediktsson Frostadóttir — Iceland Rob Jetten — Netherlands Ulf Kristersson — Sweden Michal Šimečka — Slovakia Kyriakos Mitsotakis — Greece Pedro Sánchez — Spain Jonas Gahr Støre — Norway Alexander Stubb — Finland Sanae Takaichi — Japan Ursula von der Leyen — European Commission (EU) Antonio Costa — European Council (EU)

@ChrisGeorgeBerg @megbasham @SohrabAhmari It's probably not that It's probably that American evangelicals are pseudo-gnostics, who think the natural world and Creation are evil things to abuse Two steps from hearing their rants about the demiurge

@mk_2245 @megbasham @SohrabAhmari I think some evangelicals want the Earth to be severely damaged for some demonic reason. Possibly to usher in the building of the third Temple But God won't allow that to be built. We already have our Temple

@megbasham @SohrabAhmari If a man led a family and spent $100 a month on gambling and $400 on hookers (with let's say enough disposable personal income after family expenses), we'd say that's bad
