Ofsted: ‘Wellbeing matters to us.’ Also Ofsted: Ignores high staff absence, overwhelming increase in SEN, safeguarding & relentless challenging behaviour. Slaps on ‘Inadequate,’ wrecks morale & walks away. Wellbeing? They never cared. It's just labels, fear, & destruction.

Education isn’t broken because of teachers. It’s broken because we ask teachers to be counselors, social workers, parents, and miracle workers—while still demanding perfect test scores. Fix the system, not the people holding it together.

If you don't enjoy spending time around children, education may not be the right path. Teaching is as much about relationships as it is about content.

There should be consequences for parents that make vexatious complaints about teachers that are proven to be false. The complaint culture that has blown up in recent years - I reckon it’s fast becoming a key reason teachers quit, esp when they get no protection from leaders.

Another grim article that seeks to justify violent assault against students and teachers. It’s unbelievable how some people can find out a student attacked others in school, needed to be excluded as a result, and their sympathies are solely reserved for the attacker. theguardian.com/education/2024…

liam payne was a part of my childhood, 1D songs were and are still my way to escape and get lost in my childhood nostalgia. so liam payne passing makes this feel really strange, it’s like a part of my childhood is now somehow tainted. this is why it’s shocking to me.

Senior HR, Elaine Hammond, called me a ‘pain in the backside’ for reporting bullying by this Headteacher. She blushed in court about her 3 year long friendship with him. Is it any wonder that bullies escalate to more serious things with this kind of protection from HR?
