@EliasDaler ^^ sad but true.. it'll never gain that much hype as NES, N64, PS .. even DS gets more attention. GameCube is the middle child that no one cares for - lets hope that'll change a bit^^

@mlsprwr And while some might think “oh, a GameCube game, neat”, I feel like the premise alone wouldn’t interest too many people, sadly.
And the game wouldn’t look that much different from a modern indie PC game.

Some games had a wonderfully soothing and relaxing vibe - usually the slow paced "build your empire" games. Few have done it better than Anno 1602 (Max Design, 1998), which I consider among the best ever of its kind.
I can't think of too many Austrian game studios, MAX Design being the rare exception. Generally, games that were created in and for the German speaking market, didn't do that well outside of those, but the first Anno game (many, many sequels followed) was so incredibly popular, that it remained the #1 selling game in Germany for 5 years until 2003, and its success helped it boost sales overseas, too. Total sales for Anno 1602 eventually closed in on 3 million, an unheard number for a small game studio at the time.
What was normally a male dominated industry, got turned on its head a bit, with a large portion of the Anno 1602 players being female. The Anno series had 7 more sequels, the latest one being published in 2025.

In a typical japanese SaaS Company you'd start with a full laid out FP Analysis. Then you go over to the click dummy and specs. If the potential customer approves, then the project is a go after signing the contract.
Then back and front starts at the same time .. but the front gets developed first.. why? cause the customer wants to click around and test it.. see what he pays for.. where is the data coming from? well its mock data obviously, which gets slowly replaced by api calls over the time.
there is nothing without approval from the customer. ux/ui for FE and BE is done by one company and style by another company.. while marketing is usally done by yet another company.. QA gets offshored to Vietnam
I just wanted to give all those people in the comments another perspective.
