Forced displacement order are barbaric by design, but issuing them at night is another level of brutality. Always remember that with Israel, the cruelty is the point. The Israeli army has just issued forced displacement orders for 27 towns and villages. It is almost 22:00. Imagine packing up your children, your elderly family members or your disabled family members along with whatever you can carry from your home. Forced displacement is a war crime and a systematic element of Israel’s genocidal acts in Lebanon. They do this to us almost every day under threat of death, as you can read in the order.
