BREAKING: Trump's own Justice Department hits him with nightmare news by announcing an internal watchdog investigation into the agency's handling of the Epstein files release. Our so-called president was hoping this would just fizzle out... "The DOJ Office of the Inspector General (OIG) is initiating an audit of DOJ’s compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act," announced Deputy Inspector General William M. Blier. "Our preliminary objective is to evaluate the DOJ’s processes for identifying, redacting, and releasing records in its possession as required by the Act." In addition to that preliminary objective, Blier stated that the OIG will "consider addressing other issues that may arise during the course of the audit." While we have good reason to doubt everything that comes out of this deeply corrupt Justice Department, the fact that an audit is being conducted at all should is cause for concern for Trump. There are still people in this administration who want the full Epstein files released because a large portion of the MAGA base still desires it. If Trump's insistences that the entire scandal is a "hoax" were taken seriously by everyone at DOJ, this would not be happening. We know that the full files haven't been released, just like we know that names have been illegally redacted and that Trump himself is accused of rape and heinous sexual misconduct. An audit raises the chances that new information will come out. On top off that, the agents involved in the audit have less incentive than ever to shield Trump. His presidency is falling apart thanks to the Iran War and his plummeting popularity. Helping him to obstruct justice now would mean putting their careers and even freedom on the line.
