@abdaal P seems to have replaced by B in Arabic. Our driver in Egypt kept telling ‘You can’t bark at the Byramids’ and made us walk.

Interesting to see how rapidly Ph is dying out in Hindi pronunciation and being replaced by F. Phalgun is now Falgun and is pronounced so. Similar trends in फल, फूल, फेंकना etc. Interestingly this is a global trend. Languages like Arabic lost P and replaced it with F.

It was wonderful meeting Shri Sudip Pradhan, Independent Director NRL and Smt. Radha Pradhan, MD Temi Tea. It was heartening to learn about their resolve and initiatives in taking Temi Tea ahead.

However as part of tactical urbanism, GMC is trying to make some stretches pedestrian friendly. One such work is ongoing at Ganeshguri and another will be in Paltan Bazar. A concept is being tested there using pots and paints

Thanks for your prompt action sir ! One of our resident called on the complaint Number about few people disposing their garbage in the open drain of our byelane. The executive on phone said to physically submit an application to Mr. Hiranya Hazarika, Exe. Engineer Dispur Zone.
