@TheRedbaiter English became a global language by absorbing, borrowing & inventing words from everywhere. Latin, French, Hindi, Arabic, Māori & hundreds more. That’s how living languages survive. Māori doing the same in the modern world isn’t fake. It’s what every successful language has done

As I have posted before, original pre-European Maori consisted of only 2000 words. The English language is made up of around 170,000 words. Te Reo today is largely a fake language consisting of words made up by modern day activist academics struggling to address the 168,000 word deficit.
Joseph Mooney MP@JosephMooneyMP

Māori has been spoken in this country for around 800 years, and has also been statutorily recognised as one of New Zealand’s official languages since 1987.

@Megatron_ron 30M gallons gone before anyone noticed! That’s not a leak—it’s hyperscale demand quietly outpacing reality. Data centers don’t just process data… they absorb resources faster than headlines can keep up.

Water draws for a 100 MW data center run about 1-1.5 million gallons per day for evaporative cooling. The Politico framing is sensational, but the underlying issue is real: utilities approve hyperscaler interconnects without disclosing the rate-class shift that follows. Cost transparency, not bans, is the fix.

@Megatron_ron The Epstein elites wants to use our water for their data centers so they can better surveil us. We NEED water, but we don’t need any more data centers.

Why is our immigration minister Erica Stanford meeting with convicted criminal Daljit Singh to discuss immigration policy? Daljit has a track record of voter fraud and immigration fraud. He also had close ties to Baltej Singh who was recently busted for importing 700kg of meth. The Indian community should have zero influence over our immigration policy.

This is absolutely insane. President Trump is currently flying to China with all of the following people to request "deals" with China's President Xi: 1. Elon Musk, Tesla and SpaceX CEO 2. Jensen Huang, Nvidia CEO 3. Tim Cook, Apple CEO 4. Larry Fink, BlackRock CEO 5. Stephen Schwarzman, Blackstone CEO 6. Kelly Ortberg, Boeing CEO 7. Brian Sikes, Cargill CEO 8. Jane Fraser, Citigroup CEO 9. Larry Culp, General Electric CEO 10. David Solomon, Goldman Sachs CEO 11. Sanjay Mehrotra, Micron CEO 12. Cristiano Amon, Qualcomm CEO President Trump also says there are "many other" CEOs joining him on the trip who have not yet been disclosed. Never in history has such a trip even remotely near this scale and caliber occurred. This Trump-Xi meeting is far bigger than most realize.

I've been in Manukau for the last couple of days. In Westfield twice. You would have no idea it was NZ. 70% Indian, 10% maori/poly, 10% Chinese, 10% white. Unbelievable change. Same on the road. Nearly all drivers are Indian. What an eye opener.

NZ supermarkets hang your head in shame for filling your shelves with cheap imported Olive oils while ignoring our fantastic local industry. Losing The Village Press is a massive blow to our local Olive oil industry. We cant import our way into prosperity so support NZ made.

Long story short. Car came in to investigate a water leak🤷 I took one look, and told them their car is a structural write off.🫣 They bought it 4 weeks ago from an Auckland car dealership with a fresh WOF.👀 Now, free of charge, I am building a report against the sales yard.

@ZooNealand @theinfinitepooh Part of the reason is that our minimum wage is high and it kicks in at 16. If you have to pay someone in an entry level job a decent wage then you may as well get someone older and more experienced. The supermarkets pay permanent staff quite well these days too.
