@kkthedj2000 @dstew44 @EricMacramalla Are you crazy. He’s only 25 and there are teams desperate for centre help (WPG/LAK/PIT) that would absolutely give up assets for Dach.
He’s 9 years younger than Coyle who just got a 6x$6M. Someone is giving up a late first (or protected 2027 1st)for Dach if MTL moves him

@dstew44 @EricMacramalla Games played. Coyle is not a true comparable. In the plast few seasons Dach has played less that 50 percent of the games. Availability is an issue

@HG_too_old @mikemcintyrewpg So many teams have a need for a scoring winger + cap space to burn that he’ll probably end up with a 1-2 year deal for $5M.
Crazy? Yes. But likely inevitable. If he’s making 15% of his current salary 32 teams are offering that contract.

The #NHLJets and Patrik Laine were a perfect fit for a few years before circumstances took them in different directions.
Now, years later, there’s a compelling case to be made that a hockey homecoming might make sense for both sides.

@nhlburnerboi Top pair RD is in-house with Salomonsson. Keep Samberg & Pionk together on D pair 2 & then slot in DeMelo or Brown on right D on pair 3 with...who knows? Fleury is pretty meh. 2C is a trouble spot as is 60 point ELC & a scoring third liner. In short Jets are in tough.

@NikLynam That non-answer probably means that he is making calls to see if candidates claim they can squeeze more juice out of this core. If there’s a coach out there who he thinks can do that instead of making major changes they’re getting the job. Arniel recognizes they need more talent
