Ultimately, as a result of this policy, rather than leaving feeling refreshed and happy we left, feeling disappointed, and as if our experience had been unnecessarily disrupted.

Adding to my frustration, only moments after I was turned away another family all of whom had a variety of Starbucks beverages were allowed entry.

@united I generally enjoyed the Polaris Lounge at EWR but severely disappointed at the end. I’d gone to get pizza for the children traveling with us & when I returned was told I couldn’t enter with their food. It was almost time for our flight so I sat in the lobby for 30 minutes
