@cbed32 @TsaiMana That was a good observation regarding population density. To address this issue, I used the percentage of the non-White population relative to the total population instead of raw counts. This way, the map reflects relative diversity rather than absolute numbers.

@mohsinramay_ @TsaiMana This is a bit hard to read, though cool. I think it might be over correlated with population density which is a better predictor though, coastal being especially populated , but I think this does have some interesting points. Northern border part I think has same colors as Denver

Non-White Population (%) changes with Distance from the U.S. Boundary. Using ACS 2020 data, I visualized non-white pop & distance from the boundary & the patterns are striking! - Higher diversity near borders/coasts - Diversity decreases moving inward #GIS #Demographics #USA
