@tooyoungtobeceo The main concern with state schools is high class sizes and relative lack of resources. VAT on fees will simply make them more elite, as only the highest earners will be able to afford it, and push more numbers into the already over stretched state sector.

Just for the record. The number of current & former Tory MPs convicted of sex offences in this parliament alone is greater than the number of people convicted of voter ID fraud since 2010

Next big rugby question on the agenda now the @rugbyworldcup is done is who should be the @lionsofficial head coach for Australia in 2025?! Let me know what you think!

That was almost beyond words. If Fiji lineout had not collapsed it would have been huge margin. Look what happens when the sport funds Tier 2. Maybe. Incredible

@etiennest @Steven_Moon @Scienceofsport If curry hits the catcher low as he lands, there’s a fair risk the catcher’s momentum could flip him and be speared, in similar way someone lands if legs taken out in the air. That’s probably more reckless. If there hadn’t been blood I doubt TMO would have interjected

@etiennest @Steven_Moon @Scienceofsport If you look at the ‘play on’ section, the first 3 bullet points apply; significant height change, no time to readjust, passive (he was stood still). If not careful, kicks won’t be contested at all because of the risk of sanction

Hey pundits covering #RWC2023, when a card is given, irrespective of colour & regardless of your level of disagreement with it, please keep in mind that judgments of "intent" and/or "malice" are NOT fundamental to what match officials look at to reach their decisions. This is:

@neilfissler I can’t believe the head on head in the first minute or 2 didn’t get looked at. It was a much more clear red than last night.

That looks a lot worse than it was. Surely wasn’t worthy of a penalty. They really are trying to make it non contact. #RWC2023 #RSAvSCO

@Tim_Mullen @opposethe100 My point was that it’s logistically challenging to have an overseas available through the bulk of the blast, then back again for a day 2 months later. In the past, the same overseas was usually with a county for the whole season. Will ECB prevent a ‘new’ overseas for finals day?

@moltoncricketer @opposethe100 Wasn’t played throughout season, didn’t start until after Benson & Hedges; toss seems less of an issue in the 1st SF on Finals Day, maybe batters playing less “correctly”? Overseas players always an issue, Rauf & Afridi only played half The 100 b4 returning to Pakistan

Let me help with that. Not a single river in England passes the chemical test, not one, they all fail, every single one. The ecology test? In 2009 25% of rivers were in 'Good' condition, 2016 fell to 14%, govt's prediction by 2027 that will have fallen to 6%. Shame on you.
