Since Spirit Airlines began service in 1992, they never had a fatal crash. They're closing down with a perfect record. Every Spirit flight that ever took off landed safely.

A pretty majorly pushed talent was reportedly asked to take a 50% pay cut last week and allegedly did. The name of the talent is unknown as it cannot be confirmed 100% that this was the case, but the timing of that claim was interesting as it took place a day before news broke of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods’ departure. Starling rescue today at Dulles Airport.

🚨#BREAKING: Delta Air Lines are now mysteriously canceling hundreds of flights nationwide citing crew restrictions. The disruptions come just as Spirit Airlines has officially shut down, adding further stress and uncertainty across the U.S. travel system.

The Big Four airlines (American, Delta, Southwest, United) control 75% of the U.S. market. Fewer choices = higher prices for you.

Had Spirit Airlines been allowed to merge with Jet Blue, it would have given them much more resiliency. Thanks to @SenWarren, @PeteButtigieg, and all of their friends in the Biden Administration who backed their enthusiastic opposition to the Spirit-Jet Blue merger, dozens of regional airports will now lose service and thousands of jobs will now be lost.
